Regarding Trent. He's still a Liverpool player. He's still a very good player. He's still a son of the city. People should not critizise the him for his stand that the contract talks will be done behind closed doors. If he decide to leave and not become the legend he has the potential to be, then you can critizise him. For now, he's one of ours and we should admire, celebrate and stand up for him.

It is a bit worrying that our only sub for CB now is Endo, and our only backup wingback is Tsimikas. We need to go out in January and get a defender. Sadly. I think every single player in our squad is good enough to be here, but Bradley, Gomez and Konate all being out is a huge concern to our title push. Maybe a loan, i dont know.

At the very least we could recall Rhys Williams to at least have an option.

Loz, I think the best and right thing to do is to reach out to Jack and speak to him man to man and confront him in a ‘non threatening way’. It’s the only way things will get sorted. Anyone who knows Jack, knows that he isn’t a ‘bad person’ and for that I think it’s worth talking about. I don't think you can underestimate the fitness retention. Chelsea and I suspect Arsenal are blowing with a game every three days, the ability to rest with the ball while not mentioned a lot, wins titles, for you have your players for long stretches.
Hats off to Slot for giving Endo the much required minutes and he was excellent . Endo capitalized on the chance he was given and show his quality. I think Slot had changed Endo's play even more than just a defensive player.. Look at his passing.. he is even playing further up the pitch which is a huge improvement.
Not the whole team doing their absolute best to get Jota on the score sheet when he came on. I saw so many crosses and through balls and just ridiculous perfectly weighted passes to get him through on goal. And it was beautiful 😍 enough to make a grown man cry

I have been feeling confident since city but at the turn of last year Liverpool were 5 points ahead of Arsenal but finished 7 points behind them. thats a 12 point swing so 9 points is not uncatchable for Arsenal. Biggest factor in this was massive injury list suffered in feb and March. If they can avoid a reoccurrence then I think they will win the league at a canter. Basically injuries was Arsenal's MVP against Liverpool last season however considering Saka it might be having second season syndrome.
