This is not only happening in England, but in many cities all over Europe. Community centers, short for mosques.
This makes me think of the 'multi-faith prayer rooms' you see at Heathrow, which are actually mosques to all intents and purposes.
I've been in a multi faith prayer room ,the first sign you see requests removal of footwear once Inside it's devoid of any Christian icons .I lay the blame at the decision makers who perpetrate it all.

Well the thing is us British people now are mostly aetheist and godless. So most British people aren't going to use those prayer rooms. We went from a nation that was quite strictly christian in the past to a country that is generally aetheist.
Christianity helped to hold everything together but now everything bit by bit is falling apart and collapsing.
Religion is something that used to kind of keep everyone on the same page but nowadays people are just going in all sorts of directions; and people are drifting further and further apart. We made our bed and we have to lay in it.

Go to the towns around Heathrow.. you can't walk a 100 meters without a prayer centre or disguised mosque. Plenty of spit on the floor you could start a water supply company with the amount that is spat at you as you walk past their sacred land.

There used to be a monumental mason immediately to the left as you approach. There was some extra waste ground near to this for storage of stone etc.
It became redundant, was bought and planning permission ONLY given for late night prayers for a funeral (as you know they have to be buried with 24 hours, why I’ve no idea).
It’s now used all the time, every day.
One more - a ‘scripture school’ was built next to Devonshire Road Primary School during normal school hours. It’s now used all the time.
@@itsgeneralbuttnaked I’m ancient (75) and know Bolton well. I had relatives in Great Lever, Ainsworth, Heaton, Daubhill, Tonge Moor, Smithills and other areas.
My paternal gran and her two sisters and brother-in-law lived in Great Lever.
After dad died (some 20 years ago), I thought I’d have a nostalgic walk around the area where dad and his older brother (my uncle!) grew up. Oh dear me!! And that was 20 years ago!! Need I say any more?
My mum and dad were married at Victoria Methodists at the bottom of Rishton Lane, the church was flattened for a car park and the old primary school next door (a Sunday school adopted by Bolton Council as a primary school before the war - my parents were childhood sweethearts at that school!) is now a you-know-what.
As for Halliwell Road, I recently went for a fridge part to Waltons (still the best in the NW for domestic appliance parts) and walked from Higher Bridge Street (just avoiding death on Topp Way). The ‘literature’ shop used to be a COOP then, roughly mid 70s, became PDQ Tools where I bought the odd spanner or two. They went bang and the ‘enrichment brigade’ converted it to what you see now.
Just like you, I have dozens of stories and experiences showing how Bolton has obliterated its past - not for the good.
Finally, in the 1930s my maternal gran and grandad lived at the bottom of Cannon Street. I believe there was demolition for slum clearance and some of the road built over by the gigantic mosque at the top of Derby Street.
Anyway, I wish you well. One advantage of a bus, tram and train pass is …… I can escape. Hope we get some more good weather. PLEASE!

As a resident in Bradford there are a few loop holes that people with large families take advantage of. So you move into a semi detached house on a corner with 3 bedrooms. You move in with 5 to six children ( boys and girls over 10 can't be in same bedroom) BINGO free European grant for extension (£40k was a figure remember ) if you live in house 10 years it's not repayable. You move in with 2 to 3 children 8ts tough. The other is the purchase of single story bungalows were the 2 bed is purchased then an extension into roof and garden is built and retrospective planning permission is put in with the owner having 5 or 6 children take priority over planning laws. Again a family with 2 children the polite correct way would put in a planning application first and would have 0 chance of approval.

The Saudis spend many billions on mosque building/converting around the western world and the Muslim population tends to increase around them while the original local population tend to move out. This happens at many thousands of locations in Britain & Europe. They tend to turn into Islamic enclaves and is a way to gradually occupy your country bit by expanding bit.
They do it because they know they will get away with it.

I wont say where, but a friend had a café and next door was a 'community centre '. Something about Fridays used to get them going about something, arguments and even fights outside ( religion of peace, my arse !) . Kids used to push the café door open, spit then run off... not a wise move to pursue them or half the local area would be on your case... This and the Covid saga encouraged her to close for good 😢

Another first step towards establishing mosques is starting an informal afterschool study centre in an ordinary terraced house or shop premises, gradually advertise it, increase numbers of students, extend numbers of hours & days open, collect signatures to support retrospective planning permission -for existing use "supplying a need for poor local community as a charity", apply for grants....meanwhile get friends to buy adjoining nearby properties ready for the right time to include when the Community study centre is turned into a mosque. The rapid establishing of so many such study/ community/mosque in such large numbers throughout small & large cities cannot have happened without deliberate deception on a large scale & the cooperation of officials....maybe some just want an easy life. Hi Simon, another mosque was built in Regent Road Hanley a number of years ago, this was prime land close to the city centre and they paid £1 for it, yes thats not a mistake £1 and used the same tactics saying it would be a community centre for everyone, it's turned out not to be the case, what a surprise.

Back in the late seventies I worked at an engineering firm in Aston Birmingham, a few of the Muslim workers asked the management for a small area for praying purposes, they were told that they were there to work, and if they didn't like it they could fork off...I doubt if they would be refused these days...unfortunately.
And that is how it should be, they could have said a little prayer to themselves whilst working, like I'm so lucky to be here in England and with a job 🤨

We live in a North Somerset sea side town. At the weekend waliking back to my car having just shuffled some pews in our parish church for our Sunday service, a Muslim couple( holiday makers I thought) asked where the local mosque was so they could go to Friday prayers.I told them sorry no mosque this is Christian parish but if they wanted they could go to our church and pray if that was helpful. The look they gave me was priceless, even when I said there is only one God and we all can share the Deity. Much head shaking and off they went not happy at all.

I've complained to my local council about a local ethnic 'charity' who built a stockade around the front of their recently aquired ex-St John's ambulance building. It's completely out of keeping with the environment, it's opposite bungalows and the street is filled with miniature trees and small front garden walls. I checked out the planning permission for this building and found they'd violated it. I've given all the info to the local council. Since then the charity have been covertly using the building as a mosque which I found out about because they put up notices showing women which door they were expected to use. This is in spite of two large mosques nearby, one a former Edward Passmore library and one an ex-massive factory. There is no need for this building to become a mosque. The council official emailed me that she'd spoken to the mosque manager the next week. I emailed her back saying that it isn't a mosque, it hasn't sought planning permission to be a mosque so he can't be a mosque manager. So at the very least they could have him on that. Six weeks pass and I chase it up, and wouldn't you know but she's been transferred but she'll look into it. Another six weeks and another and this is how it goes. Six months now.
Your council like many others probably has these khult members in senior positions to silence any opposition.
People like you should be lauded - please, please keep going with your Council complaints.

I live in Dudley not far from the Crooked House and I can tell you seriously this matter isn’t going away. There as been a lot of backlash in Dudley and Stafford about this. It’s under investigation, as the pub was going through the process of becoming a listed building. A local businessman as offered a substantial award for anyone to come forward with information, and two local MPs are on it also. Trust me mate, things like this don’t go down well in this area.

Simon this was going to happen in my town several years ago. I live in Dudley, West Midlands. The local Muslim community had submitted plans to Dudley Council to build a super mosque that would serve thousands of Muslims from across the midlands. The plan also included a really tall minaret that would blast out a siren to call the Muslims to prayer several times a day. The wider local community went nuts about it, and immediately started protesting and getting signatures from people in Dudley and the surrounding areas. The planning permission ended up in court twice and was turned down, due to the back lash from the residents and also the building wouldn’t fit in with the towns very old history. The Muslim community appealed and took the case to a high court in London, and permission was turned down again. We are now building a massive police station on the site!

My physio attended an assessment for a Muslim couple who live in an excellent London location. 3 bedrooms, one couple. However the flat wasn’t good enough because they wanted a garden. The woman was supposed to have some paralysis but seemed to attending to her hijab without a problem. Sensing a scam the assessment was terminated and was subjected to abuse. The abuse had to be interpreted because the couple can’t speak English. They hate us and want everything and if we call it we are called racists.
My Muslim carer comes in wearing the full palava. It’s clear she doesn’t give a toss about me.

Our entire system that was originally based on honesty from our Christian ancestry is not only open to abuse but is being abused 100% by muslims (as not only do they not believe iour laws but islam states they do not adhere to them as we are kaffars & they are the superior muslims! - the irony! did you know that any non-muslim if allowed to live in an islamic country has to pay a tax called jizya - basically so the muslims don't kill him!). There is a video here on youtube about an elderly women in the 1960's living on her own on the pension from her work & shows her living on a tiny weekly amount of money& states that she qualified for an increase in state pension but didn't want to claim it cos she didn't believe she was entitled to it. The video shows her keeping warm in middle of winter with her gloves on sat next to one lit hob of her oven. I often think how much more abundance, prosperity we would all be living in had we not spent £billions every year paying for muslims to come in & giving them millions of our homes - how much safer our country would be without the 10's of thousands of families destroyed by the muslim rape gangs, without the 10's of thousands families ruined by drugs who otherwise would not have been had it not been for these ppl coming in. Then other times I think it is maybe prophecy & we are heading into the end of time & this is a physical manifestation of what is happening in the spirit realm.

I left Bradford back in the 80s, I could see the demographic trajectory even then. I have been proved correct. 50 % of school children in Bradford are of Pakistani heritage today. Research conducted by the Wellcome Foundation discovered this recently.
I come from Stoke-on-Trent, at the church in Hanley, the "new owners" have smashed up loads of gravestones, total disregard for our country, people and customs. Stoke used to be renowned for making pottety, such talented, proud, hard working, friendly people, now the place is ruined and looks more like a foreign country.

Similar thing happened near me. An old Methodist church hall was bought on the pretext of becoming a community centre. Curiously none of the signage placed on it was in English or even Welsh as the two official languages of the UK but it was all in Arabic lettering. There was no announcement to the majority white British community about any events taking place. All the people who turned up from all over the place were foreigners speaking foreign languages and any objections to vehicles parked in the vicinity blocking off driveways and thoroughfares were met with foul language and abuse. Then they started building work without permission which was judged illegal by the council but whether they actually took notice is debatable. It’s basically planting a flag / drawing a line in the sand etc and challenging the authorities to do something about it with the discrimination card held out if they try it. Liberal Democrat and Labour councils are the usual targets; they are terrified of being called racist or islamaphobic, etc so are more susceptible to give in plus there are usually votes in it for them.
Might I suggest gathering some friends and having a… ‘heated’ debate… at night, of course

In my town which is Stevenage , Hertfordshire there was a large old house owned by the local authority which was used as a youth club. Eventually it ran into disrepair and closed - the council asked the public for suggestions for community useage. Even before people had their say the bulldozers were in demolishing it to build a new mosque.The council granted them planning permission for a "community center " before the votes and suggestions were even considered. The particlur area of Stevenage is about 99.9% white christian and the building of a mosque in that area provided absolutely no usage for the vast majority of the people there . There is no end to this - we are being duped and people need to wake up !!!

Ive lost count of the amount of pubs, churches etc that have been converted into mosques, muslim schools or Pakistani or Bangladeshi community centres.....you wont find them shouting out for diversity in these settings.....the shout for diversity only works one way....these places only seek to exclude the indigenous population.
They have turned premises above a dry cleaners into a " community centre" in a nearby village . Its now a mosque. The authorities are not even checking if a premises is suitable. A number of years ago, a community of Muslims in Romania wanted to build a mosque. The local population was not happy about this, so they went there and sacrificed pigs, desecrating the ground. And that is how they solved that particular issue.

This happened in the local Muslim 'prayer room' they applied to make it into a Mosque, but on the planning application the was a coffee lounge for the whole of the local community. The parking site in the planning application was around 1/2 mile away as the Mosque would have been situated in a housing estate where no off street parking was available. As if they would park their cars 1/2 mile away and walk there 🤣

Thank you for this one, Simon. I've mentioned it before, but this happened near Woodford tube station. "A Cultural centre with reading activities for children". It is in a shopfront. Funny enough, a few years before, there used to be an Olde Time Sweet shop (not unlike the ones a well-known h preacher was connected to). Locals objected and petitioned, and the Council (initially) did too, as shopfronts were not to be used for religious facilities. The applicants appealed and the Dept For Communities and Local Govt sent someone from Kent...who only spoke to the applicants, not locals, and they granted the application. Potential increased traffic congestion was to be alleviated by a bicycle rack. A few years later, there is no bicycle rack (why bother?) and the place openly operates as a Mosque with two hundred plus attending (coming in by car, in the main) and it has bought up next door - and expanded/extended out the back. Parking is bad enough for moves to be made for locals to get "permit parking" - so locals have to buy permits for people who want to visit.
I'm told that people can't find any records for the additional planning on the Redbridge council website.
Meanwhile, the local "sells everything for your home" shop, which served the community well for decades, had to close, because it wasn't allowed to use a small part of the pavement to sell seasonal plants and show some of their wares. Now they just have a bakers, fast food and the usual stabby clientele, nail bars and graffiti. Probably the local pub will go next.
I used to live in Woodford and saw that place being built, also it is right opposite a church. Sad that the shop had to close, can't remember the name of it off the top of my head but used to go in there fairly often

I live in this wider area, and the same council sold a large piece of land for peanuts to allow a large mosque to be built. There will be, (when the one you mention is finished), 4 large mosques, within 2 to 3 miles of each other......alarm bells starting to ring anyone?

There's a new ENORMOUS building going up in my town, though the work is for some reason held up at the moment, that is advertised as a moslem youth centre. Yeah, I know!
