I absolutley was in LOVE with the Popples in the 80s. Oh my God. I loved the cartoon and I also had the Pocket Poppels. I remember very well.

I just bought a Buck Beaver Shirt Tales plush from 1980 off eBay. He had been on my watch list for so long. He has a smooshed face and I guess no one else wanted him, so I had to give him a home. I love your channel guys! I sure miss the 80's.

Thanks Julie! That Furskins Bear definitely needed rescuing from what I refer to as "the toy bin of doom." I don't usually take the time to dig through there, but I happened to see him lying face-down on top of that plushie pileup like he was beckoning to me, lol!
I had a couple of Male Cabbage Patch Dolls, and believe it or not, one night I found one in the basement while I was looking for my old toys. My mom actually has one of the very first Cabbage Patch Dolls that came out!!! I had some of the minature plastic California Raisins. I love those guys, and I'm a huge Gremlins & Muppet Babies Fan too!!!

I have the pink Nosy Bear Gumlet, a Gizmo and a Popples character Touch Down, which looks like a football when he's tucked in!
Very cool! It sounds like you're getting quite a nice collection of 80s toys! I haven't seen the football Popple, but I did find a soccer ball one. I didn't buy it though because the price was high and it was pretty worn out. As always, thanks for watching!

I don't remember then from the 80s, but I love them now! Ha ha!!
For some reason I think about this whenever someone mentions Duran Duran... I went into a Hallmark store in the 80s and they had these decorative alphabet letters that you put on a shelf to spell words and I walked by the shelf with them on it and it had Duran Duran spelled out on it. Such a random memory from the 80s though!

I have been dragging in a few 80s things lately because of you guys. I'm building a shelf that will be all 80s stuff that I used to have as a kid. I have my Atari but nothing else. I found a controller and a few games. I also found a few GI Joes. I'm looking for a worn original Rubiks Cube.(may not have spelled that right). It is fun to go hunting. Plan on getting lots more
That's amazing!! Sounds like you're off to a great start, and we're happy to inspire your collection. I've found a couple of older Rubiks Cubes and some newer ones as well. They look cool displayed in a large, clear cookie jar. How cool that you have your old Atari! We have our original NES but unfortunately not the Atari system. The thrill of the hunt is definitely the best part of collecting. Happy Hunting!!

I had to look that up, and when I saw a picture of them I laughed out loud. They look like a bunch of rolled-up toupees, lol! How funny! Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Now I feel the need to watch the Star Trek episode with Tribbles!
