That's why I always love the old school games, they never break down. Just like old school furniture, and other thing's, they really cared about how thing's were made back in the day.
So true! They really don't make things the same as they used to. Even in the 80s, products seemed sturdier and just plain better than today.
Oh man the california raisins brings me back. I love the antiquing videos! I collect antique zippos!
I've been same lately revisiting things from my 80's/90's childhood. Especially tv and movies, get my daughter into the things I use to have before kids were infront of phones all day.
The coke can is awesome. Leonardo was always my fave turtle.
Oh those simple tricks like blowing into the games was a daily occurance lol...Almost as good as the classic "switching it off and on again" lol
They just don't make things like the classics anymore do they.
Awesome!! It’s fun sharing these things with our kids, isn’t it? When Zoe was about 10 years old, we spent one summer watching all our favorite childhood movies with her... Indiana Jones, The Goonies, all the Star Wars, etc. That was SO fun!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great week JJ! 😊
The 80s and 90s were the absolute Best when it came to toys, and videos/shows..... I could ne a little biased but it seems that is the overall consensus lol

Fun video y'all! Abby, you're really on an 80's kick and totally taking us back :) I'm with Keith, you know you're old when the music from your childhood is on an oldies station, LOL! Fun stuff, I totally would have gotten the Star Wars stuff :) Not only do we remember New Coke, we have a hilarious story about a family member who went to extreme measures when New Coke came out, it's legend in Tim's family :) Fun, love the dancing coke can, although Jesse does not. He looks great with his trim and snappy bow tie on his collar ;) Fun to see Donkey Kong, haven't played that in years. I'm even older than you guys and I remember going to the arcade and playing Galaga and Donkey Kong and stuff, with quarters, on the big machines, with my friends on a Friday night, ha! Thanks Stacy (and Tim!) We are definitely planning to shift our channel towards more 80’s content, so I’m glad y’all are cool with that. Yes, I’ve been on a big nostalgia kick lately, not sure why. But as it turns out, I’m realizing that the younger generation is pretty into it too... go figure! I heard someone say recently that the 80’s are like the new 50’s, so it’s all the rage for dress-up parties, decor, etc. Awesome!! Keith audibly gasped when he saw that Star Wars stuff, lol! It was cute. Since we’re officially “old” we’re just gonna roll with it! 😂
And one of these days, if we meet in person sometime, I really want to hear that story about the New Coke. What a funny marketing decision that was! And remember Jolt Cola?! Gag 😆
Those coke cans were so cool. My brother used to have one. I remember Donkey Kong too. Great game. I really love how your RUclips (vlogging room) turned out too btw. I would say Donkey Kong Jr is wearing a diaper haha. Really cool finds, that was an awesome store haha.
That is very cool at 2:06.... As for the Nintendo console, you need to get Gyromite with that Robbie The Robot machine.... I have mine since 1987.... I still play my Nintendo.... I have a lot of videogames for it....
The 80’s was the best! Awesome finds, love the coke can. The other day our son asked who was Prince? Really??? Donkey Kong is my hubby’s favorite game. Enjoyed! 😀💕

NES was my first video game system I bought. We only had one tv and I would stay up so late after my parents went to bed playing. 12 hours later you’re still in the vlogging room playing Nintendo.
Ha ha, yes that's easy to do! Those games are definitely addictive, and I really struggle when it comes to Dr. Mario, lol! My first game system was actually Atari, but it was in my parents' bedroom so I guess that was a good idea to keep me from sneaking in late-night games 😂
As we were starting to clear out my grandmother’s house, I found an old Barney Balloon Race board game. I KNEW it had to be back there somewhere! I was SO glad when I found it!

That coke can was a steal!!!! Cannot believe it still works. I remember having to fiddle with the NES cartridges to get them to work... Slide them in just a little bit and close the lid. Fun trip down memory lane. :)

Do you know that the name”Donkey Kong” was an accident?
It’s true!
In Japan,they were trying to think of an English name.
They went with “Monkey Kong”.
It got screwed up,and ended up “Donkey Kong”!!
Let’s be honest,it’s a much more legendary name!
