Back when toys used to be so fun and cute! Thank you for the vid, I just got one and it has a slightly matted spot and didn't want to ruin it further 💜‼️
I'll be 40 in September and literally every toy in your intro I recognize and love! Glad I found this channel since I've only recently decided to fill some shelves with old keepsakes, and they often require a lot of TLC before display. Thank you for this instruction!
Awesome! Thank you!
@@TwiceLovedTrinketshey I have a question,I have a balto Jenna plushie if you know who that is 😅, anyway she has a bandana so I don't know if that'll interfere with her or not while cleaning 😔
Thank u so much for this video i have the exact same popple in this vid and im gonna try this
So popples are my favorite 80s toys. I had one as a child and I low key collect them whenever I see them. My childhood one is pretty messy because by the time I was a kid it was already really old
Omg I forgot I had this popple as a child!
The Popples were so cute and had such a good sense of humor! You did a great job on the makeover of the Popple that speaks like Wordsworth from Heathcliff and the Catillac cats!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video!!! My mom gave me her childhood Garfield plush and I've been trying to find ways to clean and restore him!
Awe the Popple looks all fluffy and happy now :3 I think I'm going to try this on one of my Ty Beanie Kids who has really matted hair.
Thanks! I hope it helps!💕
Amazing! Alredy in love with this plushie! i will own her one day :D
Thanks!
wow fabric sofetner is fab for most things
I have her she used to be my moms now I can finally clean her thank youuuu!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. This is awesome!
Thanks!
I personally thought Pretty Bit was the cutest! I think I had her once, but it got worn out and got tossed away 😭
It's so sad when they get thrown out! Maybe you will find another though!
@@TwiceLovedTrinkets sometimes I wish I could go back in time to 1986 when they first came out and buy the original nine ! The only product I still have is the Popple peeking children’s book! Personally I could recreate them with colored felt I could get at Michael’s!
I used a toothbrush it took ages lol this seems like a much better idea
I bet that would take some time! Lol
I remembered them I use to have some
Nice job she looks great 👍👌
Thank you!
@@TwiceLovedTrinkets you are welcome I just love popples and you
These is so useful! Thank you! Can I ask what type of brushes you use?
Thanks!! I'm not sure what the brand is, but I have a cat slicker brush with a comfort grip handle that I purchased at Petsmart.
Hair never looks same this way. Better way for that
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Do you have a link for the cat slicker brush you used for this? 😃
This is very useful! I have a question, do you think while brushing around eyes that covering them with something like paper or napkins would protect them? Or would the brush be too sharp for that?
I use my finger to protect it, and keep the brush off of areas I don't want to accidentally scratch. If there is fur really stuck together near those parts, the metal comb may be what you need to use to get closer without damaging the plastic.
You could probably use painter's tape? 🤔 Enough tacky to stay put, but leave no residue
I recently got some vintage Popples that both look correct after a good wash, except Potato Chip lost her little plastic nose at some point ! Do you have any tip on how to fix that ?
Do you still have the nose?
@@MartenFerret I don't - I think it's been missing from a while ! I found some people online selling similar replacement noses though, so I think I'll get one of those 😊
@@BAKAROID /heart/
Hi do you know how to stuffed animal without a pet brush/ animal brush because i dont have one. My stuffed anymal was fluffy but then one day i washed it with water and soap and air dryed it and now its now fluffy :( do you know how to fix my problem or what i did wrong?
Try a hair comb with fine teeth if you have one around, or maybe even a clean (new) toothbrush, though both of those will take quite a bit longer than a pet brush. They should sell very cheap but useful pet brushes in places like dollar tree or animal shops. I got a cute pink cat brush for around $5 at a petsmart. ^^
I haven't found a way that I am happy with besides the pet slicker brush, it should help take care of it if you can pick one up.
Did you spin it in the washer?
Hi. Can you do PC Popple? Thanks.
I have the 86 soccer ball BIG KICK.
:)
I would think the flatiron would be bad for the fur
Hair has to be wet or damp, flat iron has to be low temp and this works best on hair that was already heat damaged in the dryer that has clumped down to the body.
This video helped save a vintage Eeyore I was gifting my daughter that I threw into the dryer and ruined his "hair." The conditioner/flat iron trick did an amazing job. Thank you for sharing! Will definitely be more cautious in the future.
Those magnetic lashes cannot br safe
No magnetic lashes on these plushies to my knowledge!
