As someone who's struggled with skin picking my whole life, I love the idea of these. I wish, though, instead of filling a plastic display, they'd provided an empty mystery plush to fill with the fuzz and zip up its back. Then you'd get a whole second toy out of this instead of a wonky display to lean against something and stare at. Plus - it'd be an added element of mystery and collectibility! And more incentive for any littles playing with this to not leave a fluff mess in their wake!
I started picking my skin a few years ago and I didn’t even think that this might help! Really appreciate that you brought this up and I hope I can get my hands on one of these
As a girl with trichotellomania since 8th grade, I was really excited when this came out! I'm definitely keeping my eyes out for it! I always thought it was targeted towards the skin and hair pickers, so I'm glad they're finally considering us when it comes to fidget toys like this
I was skeptical at first but then i realized that these could be really good for ppl with Trichotillomania or Dermatillomania (hair pulling and skin picking respectively). It's a really interesting concept for conditions that aren't talked about alot, much less given healthier options for.
I think these are cool for that reason but they also have these "picky" pumice stones which are similar! There's colored rubber in the holes and you pick it out with a little metal tool. It's cheaper and you can refill the rubber (it's latex so not good if you're allergic)
Yes, yes, yes!! Gosh, I saw these in my local store today without realizing what they were and now I really want one for when my dermatillomania is acting up. I could've used it the other day when I ended up picking all the scabbing off my new tattoo (which likely pulled SO much of the color out of it 😭 ).
@@twiharryfan212As someone also with dermatillomania, I admit it’s one of my fears preventing me from getting a tattoo. I’m scared I won’t be able to resist picking at my scabs and ruin it =S.
@@Gamyeon So there's this stuff out now called saniderm that's really incredible for folks like us!! I had it for my previous tattoo but forgot to buy some for this one until it was too late. I didn’t know this. I’ve been using one when my cat blows his undercoat when seasons change. I also brush him every other day with a slicker brush, but it just doesn’t seem to get out the shedding undercoat very well. But I’ll look in to this more and might relegate the “Furminator” brush to cleaning the cat tree. (Btw, if you have a carpeted cat tree, those brushes are really good at getting the fur and dirt/dust off of them. Even the stuff that a vacuum can’t get.)
@@Annie_Annie__ They're ok for a quick session to get rid of the seasonal shedding during summer (the winter coat that is falling out), but shouldn't be used regularly or any other time and not for shorthaired cats! I dont think it's good as a fidget thing, because once you're done, you're done! I want to be able to fidget with it everyday. Just my thought. Hope it helps.
(Disclaimer: I have no reason to believe Jackie is misusing her brushes/combs, I just wanted to post a general warning for everyone for the specific grooming tool she showed) Heads up from a pet groomer: that brush/comb should only be used in small sessions to get rid of seasonal shedding that you could theoretically pull out by hand. Those kind of combs have small razors that grab the undercoat, which is why it works so well on the toy. If you’re using it regularly on your cat (or dog), especially if it’s a short hair, there’s a significant risk for brush burn since you’re basically scraping their coat & skin with a dull razor.

My Nana’s comments about the plucking process and whether it was worth it for the meal provided don’t bear repeating, the air in our kitchen was blue and full of tiny feathers 😂.
As someone who was born with a disability & has friends with various disabilities, I HATE that toy! It's such a purposely EXCLUSIVE toy. There are so many people who can't use those things & stuffed animals are some of the most inclusive toys in the around. I don't like that they took something as comforting & beloved as a stuffed toy & turned it into an overly expensive messy object of frustration. Stuffed animals are so universally beloved, affordable & inclusive that my hospital gave each child one when they were admitted to the hospital. I also know that 1st responders also give them to children experiencing trauma. This is why those things rub me the wrong way.
...it's mass produced garbage, hun. It's like a plushie version of fast fashion. I guarantee as little thought as possible went into these. At the same time though, not everything is for everyone and that's ok. These specific plushies, that are particularly hard to find, will have little to no impact on most people. They won't even know the plushies existed.
this plush is right up my ally. without getting to much into detail i have trichotillomania AKA TTM which causes irresistible urges to pull at body hair. but i have found out like koosh balls or anything with an ability to pull has helped. this little review actually helped me decide whether or not to get one.
When you were two-handedly picking at the fluffies on the rainbow it reminded me of a cat making biscuits. (or maybe it's because my cat's also happily making biscuits on the blanket in my lap while I watch this vid lol)

I got the purple unicorn for my godson, who is non-verbal and obsessed with pulling strings/hair. He loved it so much! I also liked that it took him a few days to fully pluck it clean.
As someone with adhd, I would’ve loved to have this kind of toy! Looks relaxing.
I’m so impatient I would totally go all Pat on these and violently pluck them 😆
Your hubby is so cool it’s so great to see you guys working together
I'm just curious, how is Sika keeping? If you don't want to share I completely understand. On another note, it's great to see Pat again!
Awe i live for the pat cameos ❤❤❤❤❤

On the road to 2 mil subs, Jackie! Go get it, you deserve it!
I want the cloud ☁️
This brought back childhood memories of plucking pigeons with my grandmother. We were gifted some by my uncle who had been out hunting. My Nana’s comments about the plucking process and whether it was worth it for the meal provided don’t bear repeating, the air in our kitchen was blue and full of tiny feathers 😂.
I love Pat's commentary, pls have him on more often.
Pat giving good vibes: *touch touch *, says, "rainbow!"

He's trying! 🤣

I love the axolotl ❤
Me Me…Over Here! I tagged you in these videos on TikTok 😂
this plush is right up my ally. without getting to much into detail i have trichotillomania AKA TTM which causes irresistible urges to pull at body hair. but i have found out like koosh balls or anything with an ability to pull has helped. this little review actually helped me decide whether or not to get one.
I feel like these would be great for people who pull their hair when stressed.
I got the panda and I GOT THE ULTRA RARE❤❤❤
Jackie and Pat are 100% couple goals
I’ve seen the exact same ad for the fluffie stuffiez whenever I’m watching certain videos, it’s cute but a total pain for cleanup 😅😅😅
When you were two-handedly picking at the fluffies on the rainbow it reminded me of a cat making biscuits. (or maybe it's because my cat's also happily making biscuits on the blanket in my lap while I watch this vid lol)
I love when your husband Pat comes into your videos! It makes me feel like we are all friends lol. Love your videos!
