Amazing 1980s treasure and those stuff plushies are absolutely adorable. It's all valuable treasure I hope all of these can be preserved. I hope they can build more museums and conservations to preserve 1980s relics and treasures. Thank you so much for keeping the 1980s alive in your hearts. I'm a 90s kid and I like to imagine that heaven is a lot like the 1980s. :)

When I was around 6 or 7 my mom put curlers in my hair and it was a disaster. My hair at the time was very thick and curly already, plus my hair was a little past my shoulders. She placed those curlers in my hair overnight and the next morning when she took them out my hair went from my shoulders literally up to my neckline. I was crying so hard, I hated it, my mom tried to brush out the curls but couldn't. I went to school that day looking like a messed up poodle. Oh the memories!

Oh my goodness!! Sorry to laugh at your mishap, but LOL!! There's a fine line between classic curls and poodle, ha ha! Hopefully it wasn't school picture day! Trust me, I had a few bad hair days in school too (mostly due to the perm trend!) Thanks for sharing your memory with us Emily!
I had a lot of the Cabbage Patch Figurines from 1984, the year I was born, that my aunt gave to me as a kid 😊 I still have one of the original ones I had as a kid and I found one earlier this year at an antique store. Also, I had that Avon Easter barrette as a kid!
Very cool! I don't recall ever seeing the glass figurines until I found this one. That's a sweet collection from your aunt.
I had a Glow Worm. It was my brother's favorite toy as baby/toddler.

I love your storage room! So cute! I remember saving all my pennies all year when I was a kid and rolling them for buying my family Christmas presents. I bought a lot of stuff for my family from Avon. I remember giving my dad the car with cologne in it. Perfume for my mom and aunts. They had such great stuff! Bill and I used to watch MacGyver together! We loved it. He was so creative using little items put together to get out of scrapes! He never carried a gun. The new series I don't watch because it's not the same. I wish you well with your Etsy Store! 💖💖
Thanks Bonnie! Our basement is definitely a work in progress, but I'm so thankful for the extra storage space. Avon made such cute stuff back in the day. I often see those novelty cologne and perfume bottles at estate sales, but I'm afraid they'd be pretty stinky by now, lol! But I know there are definitely people who collect them. Looking forward to watching MacGyver! Reboots are rarely ever as good as the original shows.

Just watched the Garfield's Thanksgiving television special, I thought that was excellent.
Hey guys. I'm sorry, I've been missing your videos lately. I've been dealing with the passing of my mother who recently died of Metastatic Breast Cancer. But glad to do some catching up and there's some things you got that I haven't seen in years!!! The only Glo Worms I had, were the little ones from the Wendy's Kid's Meal from back in the late 80's. Plus that's a cool room you're working on there Abby!!!

Vinager gets rid of battery croson spray a little in the croson use a old toothbrush it desloves it i did it to an old zhu zhu pets it fixed it did it to the furby that i got also awsome haul

I have one of the original Glow Worms, as well as the pink Nosey Bear. My bear has little balls that you try to get into the gumball machine basket.

I will be starting up a You tube channel in the next few months I have a room full of it and moving my bedroom in the smaller 80s room and will be moving my 80s stuff into the large bedroom, lol I have alot organised on display already takes alot of work to do! I love your channel as it is the best one on you tube and the most authentic one as you lived it! :)

Great finds! I thought I commented on this video but I guess I forgot to hit ENTER :D I love those GloWorms! Im on the search for a working one for the the Grandson! I had the butterfly one when I was a little girl!!! Great find on the CPK's! I found 2 fabric faced kids signed by Xavier Roberts at the DAV here and grabbed them both for Savannah. They only had diapers and shoes on..LOL! But I will find them some clothes! I also found a cute boy one that looked like my brother's CPK when we were kids that had a tag on it - I washed his outfit though because it was super dusty! I found that one when I was in Chicago a few weeks ago! Love your finds my friend!
Thanks Verna! I think it's pretty hard to find working Glo-Worms, but they might make a newer model (not sure, I haven't researched them.) That's awesome that you found Cabbage Patch Kids at the thrift store, wow!! I've gotten a few thrifted CPK dolls and was able to wash them on gentle cycle (inside a pillow case.) They came out looking and smelling great! Thanks for watching my video, glad you enjoyed it 😊

Thanks so much! We have most of our 80s treasures in our basement studio, which is in desperate need of organization. I feel like I have SO much to do before it's ready for a complete tour, but I'm motivated to make that happen!
I have an 80’s glo worm story,it makes me kinda sad.
In 1987, me and my buddy were babysitting his 3 year old sister.
We were playing,and she started jumping on the bed.
We decided that it would be fun if we knocked her legs out under her,mid jump,and she LOVED it!
We did this numerous times,but then,one time,she fell wrong!!!
She was crying,and we v tried to comfort her.
Not long after,the parents came home,my buddy’s mom was a nurse.
She immediately knew that it was a fractured arm!!!!!!
I went home and cried!
A few weeks later,on Christmas,I gifted her a brand new glo worm,and she happily accepted it in her little arm cast😔

Oh that poor little girl... you boys gotta watch that rough-housing! I never had a Glo Worm as a kid, but I also gifted one back in the 80s. My 3rd grade teacher had a baby over the summer (whom she named Abby after me, which I always thought was so special.) Anyway, my mom brought me to her house so we could see her new baby, and I gave her a Glo Worm as a baby gift. That's more of a happy memory!
Oh,just for the record,about 15 years ago,I ran across her mom,and she introduced me to that very girl,who was all grown up!
It was so nice to see her,as a young lady,I went back to my car,and cried just a little.

When you showed the Garfield mug it reminded me of a video from the WATCHMOJO channel here on RUclips that did a rundown of some dangerous items that were banned and on the list were the Mc Donald's Garfield glass mugs. I know that's not what you showed this time but it did remind me and I know you've shown some in the past. We were using ours until we saw the video. Something about lead in the paint they used. Yikes!! Thanks for the heads-up! The only vintage glasses we sometimes drink out of are the Smurf glasses (hope those aren't contaminated, eek!) I have been collecting the Garfield mugs, but they're just sitting on a shelf looking cute, so no worries!
