It is not known if the track was considered for Emancipation and removed as the album underwent many changes.

Man this track is fire! This needs to be in an upcoming vault release. No more 80s stuff...Prince got better with time. He had so much unreleased music in the 90s and 2000s that they need to start releasing. Time to move into the post-Revolution phase.

Light skinned and mixed are not always mutually exclusive and there are many light skinned black people that come from two black parents; both of Prince's parents were light skinned blacks...so therefore Prince was a *BLACK* man. It simply doesn't matter how far along you decide to go back in a black person's lineage to find a distant white ancestor to try to claim they're not black. If we were to apply that flawed logic, then almost all black people in America would be mixed.
