I got this achievement on accident while completing the campaign on legendary with a friend of mine. This achievement is pretty easy to get on co-op. Great video btw!
Arne de Poorter Thanks, man! Yeah this is definitely the shortest/easiest Halo campaign so under 3 hours is cake compared to the others. I'm surprised they didn't lower it from 3 hours to 2.5 or possibly even 2 hours for ODST.

You say that last beam rifle sniper can't get you, but I beg to differ. Multiple times. Still managed to finish at 7:08 with multiple deaths.
I’ve done one mission in Mombasa streets, prepare to drop and epilogue and all the campaign mission and its not popping. Any help?

This achievement just popped for me randomly while playing ODST. I’m pretty sure I haven’t met the criteria to get it but I’m not complaining.
great guide. I wish the banner was as cool as the Reach / Pedrogas banner. They need to have a banner to unlock in MCC for beating every single Halo game in under 3 hours on legendary.
This is frying my head..
I take the exact same paths, but I just get blasted in the face (often by a brute shot) in the very first section. You dont deem to take damage at all..
Also, that first blue brute is GOLD for me :(
are you doing on easy?? try noob combo
I'm in the same boat. I have two brutes drop down, and one is the goldish green armor and has a brute shot and he just wrecks me every time.
you have to do it on legendary, so probably not.

Finished Devastating a few days ago. Totaling my time for ODST to see where I was at before starting this one, 3 hrs 2 mins 6 secs. Time on Tayari was 12:15, brought it down to 5:09. 🤣
Was the under 3 hours just to match the other achievements or did the original speedrun include Streets between every mission and that beefed up the time?
If you need to complete 1 Mombasa streets mission do you have to do it before you start the playthrough, or just one like, ever.
Did all the levels under 3 hours got no achievement. And yes, I did Epilogue and Streets of Mombasa. 343 really can't do anything right.....

I think this was before they updated the tickrate to 60hz, which made the ai more aggressive .

+azyazoo You can do the levels in any order. It takes your best times and adds them up for the achievement. Once your best cumulative times are under 3 hours it will unlock :)

Man wish I saw this few years ago...it seems like you have to finish Halo 3 and odst on Legendary to get the under 3 hours achievement.. I finished Halo 3 under 3 hours but it didn't pop, I looked at the leaderboard and there it was, ODST was on there as well, now I have to do everything perfectly I mean no death run basically, stressed by just thinking about it already lmao sad..
Old comment but still the same issue. Did you ever get the achievement because I have both under 3 hours and it’s not popping. I have H3 at 2:59:57 and ODST At 2:23:57. Trying to 100% complete and am very close, but this roadblock is keeping back

You literally just have to play the last rally point of each level for the speed running achievements. Did ODST, halo 3, and halo 4 that way.

@@FlyingGumGum Just tried it on the last rally point of the last mission in ODST, didn't work. I looked it up and it doesn't seem to work for anyone else either.
@@DemoniteBL you have to do another mission to unlock the achievement, I did it and it worked for me
