Hi, if we are making a bigger spiral (for a round pillow) how can I calculate the number of stitches of treble, half treble and double crochet should we put for tapering off the spiral

Can’t wait to add in the spike stitch and use tie dye colours to make a backpack/purse.

Thank you for sharing, but I have to say, I struggle with counting but love crocheting. I was saying 1 group of 3; 2 groups of 3; 3 groups of 3 and so on, as i made the stitches. Please don't put people of this wonderful pastime. We can find ways for our brains to face the challenge. I have to interpret a pattern and then work in patterns rather than strict numbers, though I think my counting has improved during Lockdown xxxx

Girlybunches -- You did an excellent job of explaining this process -- including the Magic Circle. I'm from Across the Pond and understood you perfectly. Great job! Best wishes on your channel. --New subscriber from the Wild West Southwest USA.

Thank you so much for this tutorial, I kind of want to make a bedroom carpet with this pattern :) By the way how did you get the edges so close on the green one in the beginning of the increase (where you do 8 trebles across)? Mine looks like the purple on where you can see small openings in the pattern
