The Flash is on some Next Level shit. This whole episode was Amazing and the VFX's on the show are outstanding for a TV show. That CW visualised the Flash time travel abilities very well.
I think the reason why Barry suddenly went time traveling, and this is just a theory, was because of his emotion or feelings that gave him the extra boost. Sometime when a person's desire to protect someone or something is so strong, that it can act as a power up for the person. It may not just be the desire to protect, it can be anything as long as it pushes the person to the next level temporarily. I think that why in episode 16, Barry wasn't able to time travel. At least that what I think.
Eman2491 you are right ,also this is not the first time barry learn a new power drived by emotion ,when he was fighting against the man of steel meta human , he did the sonic punch just because he was angry and needed to protect iris.
Best thing the Flash has done yet and the most awesome thing I have seen on TV. Also, if you look within the doorway you can make out what looks to be a replicated doorway, could the gap between be the speed force?
I know you're all excited because they done an awesome thing so early on, but I will remind yu in episode 5 of Arrow, Oliver was arrested for being the Arrow, they started big and ballsy, but got lazy in season 3. :( the plot really doesn't make sense so far, and it breaks my heart to say it because I LOVE arrow, i even use teh ppen name oliver queen on my facebook group 'atheist centralists'
Ollie getting arrested was done specifically so he can have less of a time worrying about being discovered. That doesnt mean they "got lazy". It just means they did a pretty big thing to tone down the rest of the Season to make way for a great Finale. And bringing Ra`s in Season 3 is a pretty big move as well. I think the pacing is quite fine, Ra`s is a character that should be stretched out for at least 2 seasons. I would like if they toned down on the melodramatic soap opera bullshit a bit tho.
I'm wondering if the Flash time traveled there I believe there could be two flashs the one whom time traveled and the one who didn't time travel can anyone explain to me what just happened???
Barry is still as old as he was when the tsunami was hitting the city. After traveling back to the past he saw his past self and that timeline of Wells/Eobard reveal, Joe getting fucked up, and Cisco dying, no longer exists. Barry now has the power to change the future since he now knows where the guy who took Joe is cause he already lived through it.
If you notice at the scene where he's running side by side his past self, you can see the "younger"? version of himself slowly dissolve away. I'm assuming that was the past Barry merging with present Barry...
This would make a great finale it's a great episode and the plot is so good and the season would end on a massive cliffhanger better then the real one I think. Cisco dying,caitlin finds out Harrison is reverse flash and flash time travels for the first time just imagine this is finale and you would think the same way
