The intro is the easiest part imo. Just forget the high notes as they are played by a 2nd guitar.

I'm playing this song for years and the intro is still hard xD i can play it pretty smooth with a pick. i gave up on finger picking, not my thing anyway :p

@@Arunnn241 it is in fact finger picking. as a john frusciante enthusiast, I've seen many live performances with finger picking. even in the music video he finger picks. on the 6th and 7th pick of each chord he picks harder and it rings out louder than the rest. put dude is a genius and I cant even play the intro perfect after two years of playing it religiously.
