He got 110 years. A public petition pressured Governor Polis to reduce his sentence to 10 years. 10 years for 4 deaths, 20 more horribly injured and burned and millions in damages. But the weak people of Colorado preassued a weak Governor. He is coming up on parole already.... You think this negligence resulting in death would be punished. Today, everyone is a victim. So don't hold your breath on these cases anymore.

Damn shame this had to happen, but if there is anyone who should know how dangerous it is stopping and walking around on an interstate highway it's a state trooper. I had a blow out on my rear tire on the interstate where I live, traffic was heavy too, no way was going to stop even on the emergency shoulder. I drove for two more miles to an off ramp before I I would get out of the car. It looks to me that these guys were a little too complacent with their work and relying too much on their blue lights on top of their cars.

It doesn’t just happened to Officers, it’s innocent drivers.. then you run from the site. Y’all just as worse is the Person that hit them. Nobody should be Happy with a list of Life. Are y’all serious right now. What if it was some of u guys relatives. I have seen Officers save Lives because they have these drugs in system. They call for help after attending to that person. Some of these Troopers do serve and protect. What if he had had a heart attack or other medical emergency
No, it was a guy who wasn't paying attention, veered off the road hitting these two troopers and instead of stopping, tried to make a run for it. Most likely will be charged with felony hit & run manslaughter.
