Which features do you find most valuable in traveling column milling machines for your machining tasks?
One piece solid base casting, solid large table, open space for easier loading/unloading the parts. Great rigid CNC machine, the only problem I would never able to afford it. 😀
Hello @1707Minecraft,

I very much appreciate your machine videos that show the structure, also the .pdf files of specific machines with the internal webbing visible. I'm currently in the 4th year of designing a cast iron machine for myself and they've both been a great source of inspiration. Thanks.
Dmg! goodd morning-Love it,how gorgeous shots,
I really like the pendulum function

add a chips squeezer so you get less coolant loss on your chips.
Forgive my ignorance, why would you need two stations with one head? Its leaving one piece for the other but is that not inefficient? I must be missing something.
Double the run time so it can run longer overnight or free up more time for the operator, saves time on tool changes etc,
The ability to have a pendulum process where you can do part load/unload while another piece is being machined.
not if its not on a different pallet tho, you still have to open the machine to swap parts, which the other part being machined right next to it.@@justinthornhill1808
NOTHING TO SPECIAL than previous decade technology as basically. no technical innovation. I 'm an engineer.
