I came across your channel in my research to tame and properly manage my growing beard too (which isn’t much, even after, say, 2.5 months). I’ve never grown one and so it’s just been a “feral” sort of thing. Having known and done little for it, I feel I got off on the wrong foot and would like to try again. Once I shave and rekindle my beard journey, what do you recommend I do at the beginning? I see moisturizer post-shave is suggested, so I will invest in that, but when the hairs start to come along, what else shall I need in my arsenal to be as successful as I may. I certainly feel you know exactly what you’re talking (and are a pleasant guy, at that), so I figured I’d ask. Thanks!
Thanks Michael! The "How to Grow a Beard Series" is a multi video series that brings you through the beard journey from day 1 to 100. You can catch all the videos on the West Cork Beard Company RUclips channel This will give you all the tips you need
@@westcorkbeardcompany Sweet. Thanks! Also, out of curiosity, do y’all ship to the USA? And do y’all see a time when y’all might have everything else restocked?
@@palmbearoftexas2007 Yes, we ship to the States and all products should be restocked by mid April. Beard soap is ready on Friday and beard brushes due on shortly
Hydration is definitely the key for healthy and strong looking beard . Unfortunately some people doesn’t recognise that . So people out there whose growing that beard make sure that you drink plenty of water Can’t wait to see the journey Colin . In no time you will have that beard back 🤗🧔🏼♂️🧔🏼♂️
You'll defiantly soon catch up :D can't wait to see the progress :D sounds good to me! oh man defiantly know the feeling last beard I had lasted 4 months so going to try make 5 this time :D
Give it 60 days man, you won't regret it! You can shape it up then and you'll have a good idea with what you got to work with. Worse case scenario is you shave it off, best case you'll wonder why you hadn't done it before.
@@daviddoran1682 yeah i was trying that before, but it just wasnt feeling right, started last week and im going for a long time (also only recently started shaving away the neck beard so that might be the main reason why it wasnt feeling right but ill see how it goes)
Not sure how big your beard is but after a few weeks the tips I give will help bigger beards too. Also it will be nice to have a series of videos that guys can go to to help them 👊🏾
@@westcorkbeardcompany it's probably about 4 months worth of growth but I may trim it back slightly in the coming weeks, especially when you're hitting the two month mark I'd be interested to see you you go about keeping it tamed👌
@@daviddoran1682 Can't wait to get to 4 months! I'll be going for as much length and fullness as possible but will be constantly shaping it with my scissors. I think the shaping is the key to a big beard looking good. Thanks for following the videos! 🙏🏾👊🏾
Thanks Michael! I'll let it grow at least until Christmas. I've never done a yeard as I trim my beard quite often for shaping reasons. I think a beard that's looked after looks so much better than one that is just left wild for a year 🤟🏾 Thanks for watching! 👊🏾
@@westcorkbeardcompany Okey :) You don't have to do the traditional Yeard! Jack from Beardbrand didn't do it. You could do a maintenance trim once a month! Like 5 mm. My english is not that good so i hope you understand what i will write next(I'm from Sweden). You also could trim the cheek hairs, chin etc going with the grain, you know "maintenance" Not taking any length. It would be very interesting if you did a "Yeard"
You sir have just won a subscriber. Looking forward to following this journey
Really appreciate that Michael, thank you! Looking forward to having the beard back
