Invariably, several dozen things must be done in order to do what we actually want to do, and your new furnishings are looking quite well done. A blessing that your husband is willing to work to make things happen instead of being a blob and hiring workers to do it. Just TRYING is onorable enough, succeeding is even better. 26:00 Good that there are ways to prevent work shops from burning to the ground nowdays. Long ago, glass shops, candle makers and pottery firing shops were notorious for burning down.

Jill, so thrilled to have been able to watch this set up, and even more to see you and John back on YT! I am looking forward to some beadmaking tutorials even though I don't have that set up (I did have a beginner set up but it was not very safe so I took it down until I have proper space). Very sensible to wait until you have a proper setup. Jill attended a course on bead making where the person had no extraction, the calor gas bottle was in their bedroom as was the torch! Scary really.

I know what you mean about a clean workshop. Everyone is different, it's interesting seeing other people's work areas and how they operate - messy, cluttered to clean and tidy. Takes all sorts and neither is wrong.

I haven’t got a handy hubby but my handyman has done wonders with my glass fusion studio.
I have been banned from working with another form of glass, as I have just bought another glass fusing kiln. Hopefully sometime in the future I would like to try the hot glass.

32:07 It looks as if John likes to wear diaphenous thin white linen shirts as I do during the heat of summer, nothing so cool feeling as pure wrinkley linen. 41:50 Very nice, they look like irregularly shaped glass marbles. Good to see you doing well, your long absence had me concerned as I would take our Bulldog for his walks home. Upon returning home the main focus is making my customer's walking canes, plus dozens of other distractions. Now we look forward to seeing your creations! Godspeed!
Jill is learning fast, those initial beads are amusing looking back now. That's how we improve and progress. It's good to compare and reflect on the improvements one has made when looking at your earlier work.

No problems. If you are thinking of lampworking then beware of any local requirements around the storage of propane gas bottles. Most authorities / councils don't allow it to be stored indoors and can invalidate your insurance.
Great to see your set-up. We bought a kit from Tuffnells but the fans paddles warped with the heat. We did have the fam situated away from the funnel end so air had chance to cool but metal def the way to go.
Ah that’s frustrating for you. Thank you for confirming our concerns about plastic fan blades.
