    I did this practise with my six month old baby laying in front of me, at the end I closed my eyes and imagined the energy swirling around inside of me and when I opened my eyes I saw in my mind's eye a column of shimmering golden light from my chest to my baby, like the quality of my energy nourishes her it was so beautiful. Thank you so much for introducing me to Kundalini with this series.

    To be honest I was in bed this morning and I didn't want to get up. But when I saw that I was 5 days in I was like get up move and stay to your commitment you owe this to yourself. And am happy that I did. It was a wonderful work out. See you on the mat for day 6.

    I've only followed this for 5 days. What happened first is that I felt energized and stopped focusing on weight loss and saw beauty and acceptance of my body here and now. I stopped thinking of what I ate completely from being very restricted. I ate what I felt like eating. Day 5 and noticeable lots of weight have been reduced especially around the naval. I'm starting to more and more believe in the power of energy-work . And I LOVE kundalini-yoga. Thank you.

    I've had this class in my favorites but I have not done it in awhile cause I got too many different classes in my favorites, lol. But I'm glad I came back to this one it is such a great kundalini class for the core and spine. I loved every exercises in this on Brett I will be coming back it it more from now on. And I have decided that doing Kundalini everyday is much better for my back the only doing in 1-3 times a week. Not sure if the regular yoga lower back pain videos were keeping me having a sore back all the time but since I stopped doing them and only doing kundalini classes every morning my spine has had less pain then its had in years. Or it also could be that the benefits of doing kundalini yoga everyday are so strong that it cleared out energy blocks in my back that were causing the pain and of course the core strengthening exercises in kundalini are great for the spine as well. Sorry for the long comment just wanted to say thank you again Brett for these amazing classes and all the support. I am excited to continue doing only Kundalini classes everyday and probably 5 out of the classes will be yours. Have a great day Brett! Sat Nam ❤🙏

      Brett doesn't know it, but I consider her my yoga guru, and one of my spiritual advisors. Her teaching and yoga got me through some tough times. :) Now, though, I watch her for the pure bliss I receive, for the discipline to come to the mat near daily, to deepen my connection to the Universe and all beings through Kundalini yoga. And the core work that improves balance and stability, neutralizing any back pain. Must have done something right to have stumbled on to her work. #grace

    Wow. This was tough but I struggled through. Even though these are only ten minutes, I feel the results throughout the day, notably biceps, hips, and butt. A bit of esoterica…As a child, I used to be able to activate my third eye without knowing it. It would buzz subtly, and I could expand it until my entire body resonated. At around 7 it began to fade and I lost the ability to do it completely. Today I felt it again. Very faint, but emerging.

    I really enjoyed this core practice. I was full of yellow prana sometimes and other times red/orange prana. Staying with Sat Nam keeps me focused on the manipura and I like to see yellow light filling the room from this spot. My kundalina practice is so wildly beautiful and I learn new insights and have awareness of new things that enhance my life. Namaste and you are the best!

    Hi Brett, I am just wondering about how the tongue should touch the roof of the mouth, should it be the tip of the tongue to the roof or the full surface of the tongue to the roof ?
    P.S. I am loving this intro series to Kundalini! I have been taking classes for several years now from a teacher in my community (who is amazing) but was looking for something to share with friends so they can understand more about what the class is like and videos I can do at home to grow my practice into a daily routine - which has been a challenge to do on my own. This series is perfect! And bonus, from watching and doing these videos myself I am reminded of some of the key techniques. It can be a good reminder to start back at the beginning sometimes. ;) I appreciate your work so much!

    I really enjoyed Day 5. I felt the warmth and energy in the belly and through tout.
    The only question I have is: is it ok if I use a block to support my head sometimes when doing the lying down crunch and the curled up crunch poses? My neck and lower skull really hurt during those exercises. I am sure i need to build some strength there.

    • @BrettLarkinYoga
      @BrettLarkinYoga  6 лет назад +1

      My usual advice is 'if it hurts, don't do it'. This move can be painful at first as the spine isn't used to being rocked on the floor this way. You could try layering a coupe blankets for some padding and see if that helps. If that doesn't, let me know and we can try something else

    I did have a question... when I was doing the full stretch, I was having issues with my neck and head. They began to hurt. Is there a way to prevent this? I want to try to avoid neck strain, but I did not want to put a cushion behind my head because I felt it would be taking away from the exercise.
    Also, I've been doing this exercise for the past five days, and it improved my entire being. I am going to work on Day 5 for a few days to enhance my core strength before I go to Day 6.

    • @BrettLarkinYoga
      @BrettLarkinYoga  5 лет назад +2

      You don't have to do the full stretch, never do anything that causes pain! Stay where your comfortable range of motion is, just playing the edge of that to go deeper into the stretch. Make sense? Let me know if this helps, and thank you so much for practicing with me!

    It wasn’t pretty but I did it. I feel strong and tall. Peaceful. Thank you

    Does anyone else experience a flashing behind the eye lids during breath of fire? If so, what is your take on that? Energy moving? The only other two times I experience this is during acupuncture and if I get a headache. However, I rarely get headaches, thankfully.

    I made it to day 5! I swear I looked & felt smaller in the navel area by Day 4! I had almost forgotten how good one feels after the cumbersome exercises! YESS!!! I'm set for Day 6!

    This day was frustrating for me. I was very scattered - forgot to "Sat Nam," which real,y helps my breathing, and had a hard time forcusing on my 3rd eye centre. Do you have any suggestions for how to do the back roll? My back is VERY flat , or curved inward, and I felt like a box rolling back and forth (I had to stop). Roll on my butt, clunk onto my back, try to roll onto my shoulders. VERY uncomfortable!

      Maybe you could try staying in a seated almost boat like position and just do a pelvic rock there. So it would look like inhale tall spine, exhale roll back on sit bones, make sense?

      You can always skip and imagine yourself doing the exercises, or modify to meet your body where it is at 💖

    Wow, I actually almost threw up. Just wondering if it’s normal to feel extremely nauseated but it passed and oh my, afterwards I felt light, tingly & started laughing for no reason.
