Today, Kelly´s have keynote and reveal new Theos F100. They was able make another level of this bike. Not much stuff from my country to be proud of, but this bikes definitely are. I am really glad, that we have something from our little country and people admire it from all over the world. :)
Hi Rob! Thank you for your other amazing video! Today you made me even happier that it is a bike from my home country Slovakia. I look forward to testing it properly and sharing your impressions with us! Keep up the great work.👍
Absolute top notch reporting on the state of advancement for the E-Bike world…. Thank you I am addicted to your channel, love your positivity and genuine demeanor.
Only difference with this is labor cost versus robot cost. Metal strings wont brake on impact but carbon will brake nonetheless.if its 50/50 for integrity it comes to how much are you willing to take. Realistically i expect metal giving strenght to frame being minimal. Carbon doesnt magically become more recyctable by adding metal into it.
If one battery has more energy then another one with almost same weight, it means it has tiny bit more lithium content - units of grams per cell. It also usually means it likely have shorter cycle life and can be more volatile. Nice bike from Slovakia, I wish I can get one in USA.
when i heard about this and saw it i instantly fell in love with it. contours are spot on and has a sleek profile; it is indeed a gorgeous mean looking ebike.
Thx Rob, really cool introduction of that bike. Loved the slow high quality shots of the linkage movement. Would love the get some of the frame material and put it under my microscope, doing some tensile testing, beding and stuff on my testing machine.
This bike was introduced to the market about a year and a half ago. And being introduced all over again... odd no one is doing any actual rides on one to let people know what they are actually like to ride, why is that 🤔
Seems like we are starting to see benefits in technology in regard to lighter and more powerful batteries. Looks like 725w is more of the norm then the exception. New frame material/manufacturing process sounds very intriguing!
This shredder machine which is your's, look's awesome fast and powerfull...When it is able too bring these attitudes on the trails, LOL it's a killa bike. Great idea of powering all, shifts and motor. Can't wait for the test-ride video...
This is the one bike I have been desperate to see a review on. Really hoping it rides as good as it looks. Really does look aggressive, and so light for a fullfat! Waiting with baited breathe for the full review 👍🏼
Cracking first look video through Rob. Shame it's not a Bosch motor but the lower battery weight is a huge plus. Be interesting to know in your ride review if the linkage is fully compatible with Coil as well, or specifically tuned for Air like some?? I agree, odd choice of shock. I'd want to change that straight out of the gate personally
With that long shock link, sure the frame MFG will say yes, but hell no would I put a coil on this bike due to the binding that will happen especially when the bike is bouncing around.
@@RobRidesEMTB I personally wouldn't. The smaller shock shaft has a better chance to sheer or bend. I am sure it will feel fine until you go OTB. Either way, don't run the plastic shock eyelet inserts, you need something with tighter tolerances with less chance of deforming.
Received my kellys theos f90 . Well happy 😊 took a long time coming. Was worth the wait ! Loving the Geometry. Swapped the the dropper for a 200mm .Bikes feeling nimble but stable. Can't wait to get it on the bike park 🤪🤪
Excellent to hear you actually have one in the flesh. Would love to hear real world riding feedback on it.. range from their battery, weight and how the frame material finish is.
@@derekharper6031 hi Derek well had the bike 3 weeks ,my last ebike was a canyon spectal 8.0 160mm suspension up front and 150 on the rear .was looking for a bike with similar Geometry just a bit more suspension. 😉 The kellys feels very similar. So was feeling right at home . The finish is top 👌 framework looks amazing and the bike is well designed. The roll on the bike is top .what a difference to the e8000 .the bike is so easy to pedal, don't feel no resistance . Feels really quick and nimble. Mate of me has the propain ekano in 29er . No 👎 to heavy not nimble. Kellys more suspension and much more nimble. The range feels is so much more than the old canyon it's only got 225wh more rides double as far though because it rolls so well I finding I'm turning the motor of on the flats 😅 . Not happening on the old canyon Hope I could help Big G
`Looks beautiful, great build and drive specs. Appear expensive, aside from the 11 speed - what are the cassette ranges? And do you have an idea what the price is? Thanks Rob, great channel and videos.
E bikes tend to use older groups because they are far stronger. The millied out nature of the newer 12 speedsvwould just sheer off with an e bike motor. Its pretty common. Shimano has now made an ebike specific group based on the new system but its been put on steroids and kept on the old freehub system should you want a different and possibly stronger cassette
I've just visited Kellys website and surprised to see they are using Robs video (above) to promote their bike but what's odd is if you look for UK dealers, it says there isn't any!!
Guerilla Gravity frames are a similar material, they won't give exact details, but all the benefits are touted the same, they don't make an ebike yet though. Can this bike run cable shifting? the di2 cable routing when you cycled the suspension, would not work for a cable, but it looks like there might be another port for a standard setup?
GT bikes used thermo-plastic bike frames in the 90's. I wonder if the bonding are component of the TP is the same,. How. Cool for this blend of a. Frame. Would. Be be cool to be able to choose motor preference and have frame build around it. It's. A. Neat looking bike!
There's a lot right here. Like finally a seattube that can take any post. 22kg 720 watt battery ebike. Tried looking at their site but didn't find the cost of it.
Absolutely beautiful rig, love the lines on it, very futuristic technical aesthetic, it DOES reminder me of the terminator or robotics. One thing though, I'm sure they went through the software simulations, but I wonder how that really long neck on the seat tube will fair over time... visually, it seems like it could be a weak point but who knows, maybe it works with the new material composite.
Hi Rob, just saw this bike at a local dealer in Poland today and it looks absolutely stunning. I'm just wondering if you r planning to get your hands on a short travel version (F50) to write a few words about it? Is it going to be a Turbo Levo killer (at least in price-performance ratio)?
It really does look sweet. I´d rather go for a RS Zeb Ultimate if I had a Theos. Not only do I like the Zeb more but I think it would finalize the all around look of the bike. I´m curious to seeing longterm critics.
Rob, great vid and another first! Can you tell us a little more about those battery connectors at the top of the battery please? Does the arrangement look like it might address moisture (particularly condensation in a sudden cold snap) well?
That looks like how an EBIKE should, it ticks all the boxes, an EBIKE which shuttles you to the top with ease and lots of suspension to ride down and over anything giving the rider confidence, the question is - how much?
Hey Rob I'm very interested in this beast, can you do a 2nd video at 200km. I own the Kenevo sl 2022 and this new rear suspension system is the way of the future.
noticed the Giant e-Revolt gravel Di2 is also fed from the main battery like that - I wonder if that'll be the standard in the future as e-shifting gets cheaper and more common for everything
There are a few bikes running di2 fed from the main battery. Look back at the merida e160 900e. I have a 2019 one with 11,000 kms on it and the di2 has never missed a beat.
It needs to do away with an external rear derrailiur in favour of internal gears, which can't get plastered in mud or get knocked and have a standardised battery and motor and controls format to be the bike of the future.
Really really love the look and spec of this bike would love this company to bring finance out in the uk as it’s a lot of money the pull out in one go but in they did have a company in the uk that did I would 💯get one
I like the look, it’s light which is interesting too but I’d have to say the price point will be interesting. Also will you be testing the new Polini bikes soon as well?
Fox fork but Super Deluxe rear….. my Lapierre GLP2 has also a Super Deluxe rear shock. I was looking for a top of the line Fox shock with piggyback….. but the Fox diameter is really huge, there is just not enough space !!!!

Great great congrats on kellys the idea of robots production and steel + carbon fibres I have in my head 4 years before .... so good luck !!!
Must be one of the most anticipated reviews for a long time.
That studio and bike lighting is so good looking. All those lines on the ebike are so nice.
yeah baby.. Slovakia rullezz my home country :D I am looking forward for your full test and revue. Thanks

Fantastic looking bike and concept, order now and have it by spring 2025...
It's going to take me until 2025 to save up enough money to buy one!!!!
I came to the comments section to look for this comment. Was not disappointed.
That's the spirit, always remain positive. More likely 2035.

An E-Bike built by robots? Boy oh boy, people's heads are going to actually explode!
Never heard of Kellys, but man is that one beautiful bike!
Kellys was small brand from Slovakia and slowly progressed in last 15 years. Don't know now but before was connected to German brand Genesis.
Looks like VPP. Outland back in the day, later years and now Santcruz. Lovely bike, love the geo and angles.
We are still waiting Rob. I would love to see this beast in action.

First - quick squint while changing before I head out on levo for a frosty Pennines trail bash
Excellent job describing the bike
That's the price for THAT build?!? Daaaayyum!!! Bike looks sick, kinematics look ON POINT, and is top spec'd. Nicely done!!!
best looking ebike by far
Looks like a stunning bit of kit for sure! I own a 2021 Kellys Swag 50 and the spec you get on these bikes always seems to be very good.
