My Toyota dealership wanted almost $200 just for one. I paid $20 for two and thankfully because of you it works perfect.

Ok I read the directions online and thought people were pulling my leg.
I am oddly baffled that it worked. Like this feels like saying "you gotta hop on one foot and clap twice." But thanks my fob worked again.

Easy peasy! Programmed both remotes in less than five minutes for 2010 Tacoma.
Worked exactly as advertised! Thank you for doing it at a speed that I could follow along as I did it too. The dealership wants an arm and a leg for these things.

@@REALmarktheshark i had the map light on the whole time because it was dark. When i turned it off the sequence worked, or i just got lucky.

Always always go to comments if something isn’t working 😭 I turned off the dome light and unplugged accessories and bam it worked
That is the coolest it did work had to do it a few times till I got to work thanks so so much I have been without the fob for 3 years.😅😅😅😅😅

I followed these exact instructions with my 09 Tacoma, and it worked like a charm! However, I do have a question about this. When I purchased my Tacoma used, the dealership just gave me a single key, no fobs or anything. I just realized that my Tacoma came stock with remote start as well, so I was just wondering if these remotes are capable of remotely starting the tacoma as well. Thank you!
I'm not sure on that question. Mine doesn't have remot start so I'm not sure if thats a special remote from the dealership

That was a great and easy demo - One Question:- can I buy the ones with a "key blanks" as well as the programmable portion, and get the keys cut from my original at any hardware store?
I'm not sure if hardware stores can cut car keys but it might be worth a try.

Hi there! So does the key start the truck after it’s cut , and the key fobs work? Or do I have to program the key itself? In other words, does this just allow you to get in your truck? Or does it make the key work as in starting the truck. Thx!!

My key is completely separate from the fobs.

2016 Tacoma won't go into programming mode with this sequence. Any other suggestions?

@@bnotb4520 HW? I’m having same issue. 2005 and it won’t go into program mode. My Fob is Toyota and the battery is verified new.
Same problem 2008. Won’t go into program mode. Brand new battery.

I thoroughly enjoyed your video but I need to ask my car was bought from a used car dealer which I just found out my key isn’t the master key So what I wanted to ask is could I can I cut a new key 🔑 and put it in the fob and manually program it btw my car is a Toyota Yaris 2009 ?
Hmmm good question. You may have to go to the dealership to have a new key programmed.

Doesn’t work on my Tacoma 09, also tried disconnecting the fob and the battery, it may be that my fob is damaged?
That's possible, I have done it 3 different times with my 2012 and it's worked every time. Are you using your original fob, or did you order some on amazon?
