Hondata Install Civic Type R / Instant Jail Break

Today we install Hondata base tune to my 2019 Civic Type R.
Can be easily achieved by anyone, with a hot spot and credit card for the online instant jail break.

How is the car reliability , and gas consumption after tuning with hondata? And do you have to keep the hondata plug in to your car?

Hello, gas was very similar when I was on 91 only Hondata base tune. After installing the flex fuel and powermetric tune it increased by 1-3mpg regular driving. My avg is about 25mpg with 50/50 city / street. When I was stock I was about 22/23 mpg.
I do not have the Hondata plugged in only when I flash it for whatever reason.

Hey, yes need to get jailbreak from Hondata site, and purchase the physical flash pro (hardware)

No you do not, it is done via Hondata website

2017-19 can do the instant jail break which you pay $250 hondata website and it unlocks ur ECU on the spot, for 2020 i believe you have to ship it in still.
