So so good, as always. You guys are the best but particularly good to see Josh Dion get a vocal spot this week...love love love Josh playing and singing. 👍👍👍👍
Really good Miles. I can tell these folks didn't just play their own stuff when they went to Berklee and New England Conservatory. These folks are so well grounded it's scary.
Seems to me that we are seeing a certain kind of growth in Sarah Jarosz especially, in her repertoire and style, which I think is great. Although I always think Sarah's vocals are great, it seems to me that her repertoire and style has, in the past, been more focused on traditional type folk singing, which typically has been done with relatively little 'body animation' in the way that folk performances have been done. To me, she just seems to me to be more "into" her later performances, in terms of reflecting the music more into the way she moves and reflects the music via her various body movements. A sign of more self confidence, I think. Great to see, IMO. Although the "birthday" segments seem to bring the same kind of growth to all of these musicians -- new challenges galore, and boy-oh-boy, do these folks step up to the plate! Wow.
“So What!” I had to memorize that solo for a class. I sang along when Brittany played it! Looked like Critter was singing along too at a few points. :D These segments just keep getting better!
Damn...that woman can sing ANYTHING!
That cover of So What is officially mind-blowing.
This is one of the best birthday suites they've done!
The level of talent and imagination here is just off the charts
Love it. That drummer can sing

Props to Brittany! Well done.
Sarah Jarosz doing Silver Spring....bliss!
Who else could do this? Fantastic every week.
Doing The Band proud.

well said, and observed. She is so good!
My favorite part of the show.
Excellent, as always!
Great work all.
When the drummer has a better voice than everyone else. Amazing!
It isn't just his voice. IMO, his performance includes many other elements, including his "feel" for that particular song.

The look on Critter's face (and Chris'!) when Brittany breaks in. Holy smokes!
The greats enjoy the greats.
So good!
Josh Dion is one bad mamma-jamma.
Bought MD's Kind of Blue at Terrapin Station in Murray Ky when he was 15!!! You have to know the place, very cool.
Sarah Jarosz. 😍
Sarah Freakin' Jarosz
Josh Dion crushed Up On Cripple Creek
Straight up crushed it.
Brittany Haas as Miles Davis... who'da thunk it?!
That was sick, great stuff
She's a good musician. And she's hot!
You can find more of that sound on the album This Train by Wayfaring Strangers.

Crushed it too. Well done, Brittany!
Brittany can play anything she wants. My favorite musician.
Ohh, dear
Is Sarah's performance of "Morning" going to make it on your channel?
I wanted to hear Sarah sing "Sara" for Stevie Nicks... But it was great, nevertheless.
Damn Brittney!
Would have given an extra kick if Britney would had played Miles his part on a Stroh violin.
