I'm 70 years old. I grew up in Minnesota and left when I was 24. That was 1974 and Prairie home companion was my link to Minnesota. When Garrison transitioned to Chris it took me a little while to get used to it. But whoever chose Chris was clairvoyant. What an remarkable entertainer he is! How they knew that the show would eventually transition from a nonvisual radio show to a RUclips channel I'll never know. I'm disappointed that the show is moving from Minnesota but I understand you got to go where the talent is. Thank you Chris.
This show needs to go come back. I didn't listen to it on the radio religiously, but my binges on RUclips could very well be considered religious. These wonderful artists need a collaborative place to roost when they're not recording and touring independently.
The hardest part of listening to these segments is figuring out how to wipe the idiot grin from my face before meeting others afterward. Live from Here is an absolute joy to listen to or watch. Kudos to the rotating orchestra!
you would be making a mistake then, there is a reason she has the respect of a wide range of established musicians. It might not be your musical cup of tea but she deserves respect, she and her brother are very talented songwriters.
@@anthonysalvati5868 I wouldn't want to speak for Senor McEight, but...…. One could say that appearance is in the following: theme of sexual infidelity, cruelty, the lyric "Bruises, on both my knees for you, Don't say thank you or please", in other words the objectification and degradation of the human person, the degradation of sex to mere power and gratification. Those are reasonably described as "satanic". Hope that is of assistance and Merry Christmas!

Sarah Jarosz singing the Merry Clayton part in "Gimme Shelter" was awesome.

Again, going from the highs of Hi De Hi to the low beat of Bad Guy - Duh!
What a band!
Sarah is such a joy to watch and listen to.
If you have a group of fine musicians, and they can read music, then you get Bartok and The Stones. Well done guys! Truly magical!
Bad Guy! Best cover ever 😀😀😀
Respect for the whole crew for the incredible diversity of covers here, love it
great version of gimme shelter.
Though I love it I have to call that an old person's guide to Billie Ellish. :)
Just love Sarah
Awesome version...of every song!
as they always do
Cory Wong sitting back doing his thing. Absolute weapon.
I came *this* close to missing a plane at DFW because I was so engrossed in Critter channeling Keith. And Mike melting into the persona of Bill Wyman.
That mandolin change rivals NASCAR by far.
Just great fun stuff from wonderful musicians. I love how much they seem to enjoy themselves.
...just frickin' awesome!!!
Was that the G version of Gimme Shelter?
Genial!
...Michael Daves crushes the Keith...
apparently it's chris elridge...hmmm
Quite good performances, but I think I will keep my ignorance of the music of Billie Eilish.
😆, No worries, she's going to do just fine without you..! 😁

@Trunk McEight Could you point out for me where Satan makes an appearance in the songs of Billie Eilish>?
The Indy Space oh you showed him
