Welcome to my review of the Ford Ranger Raptor.
This menacing pickup takes off-roading to 11 when it comes to pickup trucks.
Born from giving the Ranger to the Ford Performance team in Austrailia who have worked on the Baha really and they have come up with this.
With Goodrich Tyres and Fox suspension, bespoke bodywork and a chugging Diesel engine, the Raptor is meant for business.
Lets see what this pickup is like!!
It is a great lifestyle vehicle.
A perfect mix for on and off-roads usage.
Being more of an off road rally car than a real 4x4 or utility pick up.
Love it, but I hope they can make some changes for the new model. As it does lack some basic functionalities which are rather standard on lower specced models.
By the way, the X-class has been discontinued in March '21 and the last 150 units were supposedly scrapped.
I love the bright red, stands out a mile
I own one and your review is spot on
Thank you for your comment. I always try to make sure I'm thorough in my reviews.
A Raptor is all I want right now! Just bought a house so need to wait a bit longer 😩
Thank you for the comment Ace. Just be patient. It’ll come.
This is very good and beautiful review well done mate
I love the conquer grey colour !
Very good review well done cheers
Great information, Ford Raptor is a beast!
I have ordered one In shadow black mate .
Thant will look awesome David!!
I like the range of a song so cool
Have one for 2 months now and I have tried to see how slippy in back on bends...nope. solid and stable, not keen on the lower gear rev, but the paddle shifts allow me to skip quickly up when ever i want. I live in Jamaica, and in the hills where the roads at best are full of bumps, potholes and the like......Raptor eats am up and spits em out. biggest criticism is the reduced storage space behind the back seat, (had a 2016 Ranger and for the price would have expected the ranger ambient lighting. other than that,,,,,,absolutely no buyers remorse.
The worst thing to put to off road vehicle is a paddle shifters. Anyone who do off road and has this know what I talk about. It’s only make sense in sport car where you do minor steering wheel movement. Raptor on paper has lower loading capability but actually do to the suspension set up and stronger frame it can load more than ranger but it will sag more (softer suspension) as such ford lower the capability. Very good review. Thanks
Don't have any issues off-roading with the paddle shifters...
Until they come up with a bright orange, this blue is my favorite colour.
You could do a wrap?
Really good review, I have one and I can’t fault it, apart from the mpg of course.
And the baby motor
I so hopefully wish they would sell them in USA really soon take my money now
They will, but it will be based on the all-new Ranger coming out next year. It will also have a lot more power than these diesel versions.
I would spec it in red or silver
That's the best
Dodgy camera work. When you see forward while driving its a completely different road that when looking at the driver.
I’m sorry Mart. Does this no longer want to buy a Ranger Raptor 😉
@@AutoBears It's only the wildtrack for me
If you are wearing gloves???? lol
I’m sorry but this is a very rubbish review!
This is a rubbish comment. Don’t like it, then move on.
