- The upcoming biopic Bob Marley: One Love was produced in partnership with the Marley family and depicts the life of a man who inspired generations through his music. Donisha Prendergast, Bob Marley's granddaughter, joins Canada Tonight ahead of the film's release to discuss her musical family and her grandfather's legacy.

I met Donisha in Durban South Africa during Bob Marley’s birthday celebration back in 2007. She supported our business by buying the clothes we made.

Wow, the granddaughter of the legendary Bob Marley! Really interesting to listen to her. It would be so great if Jamaica and the jamaican ppl would get a lift and positive attention. I can talk because I know that Sharon Marley Prendergast (Donisha mother) was a proud and pompous person, she came into the Hope Gardens restaurant and the way she felt as if she was better than others, someone smiled and waved at her, she totally ignored the person. If Y'ALL know the stories about them...the people on the ground can tell you. Remember that her mom Sharon abused a small child that was enrolled in her now defunct daycare...she was charged. No sugarcoating here!!

Peter Tosh was not presented as he should he was a revolutionist Ziggy Marley sold out Jamaica, that's not Bob's story. His father is rolling in his grave.
