I went true dual because everyone has an X-Pipe or H-Pipe. As funny as it sounds, true dual actually sets you apart now sound wise because not many people do it, matter of fact I don’t really know anyone that does it besides this video. I didn’t delete my mufflers though. The sound is great! No rasp, very deep sound. Lots of compliments. I did lose a little low end torque as I bought the car with an H-Pipe and changed it out to true dual because it sounded like everyone else Mustang. Up top I gained a bit though.
Both of these needed an X pipe lol. One needed it in place of that crappy resonator, and the other so his car has a better tone and exhaust scavenging.
Yeah not feeling that Axle-Back kit, way too quiet. Owner should have just run one of the Pre-Axle Open Manifold Kits. More tone and perfect back pressure.
It is actually louder than you think, because of the convert. roof. Coupes are more insulated and I guess that's why people seek out louder systems. I just wanted a little more deep rumble. FORD cheated the 15 - 17 GT's with what I call grand ma's V8 quietness. Owner of white convert.
@@45snakebite they both were clips from behind the car. If they had only showed inside you would malena lil sense. But the magnaflows just sound bad, good to replace big big mufflers not something almost its size
Exactly, because I am an old man just looking to cruise with the top down and my woman. I'm not a tracker or a street racer, I just wanted a little more rumble. Owner of white convert.
No, it confuses you O2 sensors in modern cars for sure. Which causes a fuel dump by your injectors aka running rich, then you will start seeing check engine lights and have a host of other problems in addition to burning fuel. Owner of White convert.
Muffler delete confuses your O2 sensors then your fuel injectors will start doing fuel dumps. aka running rich. That car has 16 fuel injectors, not interested in seeing check engine lights and having engine problems down the road. Owner of white Convert.
@Mark-Anthony Hodges lol I don't know who told you that bs the only problem you ever have is removing cats and not tuning the ecu not to freak out a muffler delete or full resonator and muffler delete will never mess you car up trust me I have been doing it since 2002 never had a problem
They don’t go all electric it’s you who go all electric. There is always a choice even when it seems there isn’t. Just don’t buy it. If nobody buys electric, they can’t sell them. For the Magnaflow set up, I would’ve deleted the middle resonator and put an X pipe to give it that extra tone 👌
I'm very surprised it was that quiet with those magnapacks on it. Turf the suitcase and x pipe you are 100% right
The magnaflows would sound great with an H pipe give alittle more volume but still be deep like signature magnaflow is

Sounds deep I liked it.
Magnaflow still sounds stock while straight pipes is very raspy it really needs an x pipe. But if i had to choose it would be magnaflow though
Straight pipe needs an x pipe
Straightpipes need some cans on the back 🤢

Well ill be dipped, only a 14 hr drive from Minnesota. I see a road trip in da future.
You should start doing before and after revs
I built both of those cars, and the view from the bottom is what I see all day every day
Both of these needed an X pipe lol. One needed it in place of that crappy resonator, and the other so his car has a better tone and exhaust scavenging.
The Magnaflow is a little quiet for me but the straight pipes makes it sound like a ricer
Straight pipe makes it sound great what you talking about its finally able to breath
@@harleyclair98agreed
@harleyclair98 Nah man, it's way too raspy and high pitched.
@@harleyclair98any 5.0 sounds like shit with straight pipes
I'd like to hear one of these with a black widow dual in dual out. I've heard the 6 cylinder cars but not a 5.0
Both is this need a h pipe straight pipe has a lot of pop but can sound nasty at times. A h pipe helps for a deeper sound.
Straight pipe sounds good
As someone that just bought one straight piped already the straight pipe is to to loud aftermarket mufflers and x pipe is the way to go
The paper tagged straight pipe strikes again
Low fuel for both stangs lol
We only get about 250 miles on a full tank🤣
I notice that as well, lol, owner of white convertible.
Sounds good but that’s a muffler delete not a straight pipe, for those who don’t know.

Definitely agree. My guess, though, is that he drives on base a lot and isn't trying to get bothered by the mp.
Looks just like my car, just without the red seats!
Both desperately need an h-pipe.
X, but yea.
H pipe all the way
Definitely an h pipe have had both
@Cody McGill i agree with you X-pipe all day.
Whats the loudest straight pipes I can buy
Magnaflow, I don't think so. If you want quiet, I guess that's the way to go. Straight pipe, a beast!!!
Of course the fuel level was low 😂
Magnaflows are way too quiet
Most people don’t want ear splitting drone and rasp.
I agree, way too quite at that point leave it stock
@@mikek5298 it sounds raspy tho, like bro said I'd just leave it stock

Straight pope
Str8 Pipe all the way baby!
Is straight piping it good for the car?

The mustang that is straight piped is much louder than the Magmaflow.
Magna flow sounds like a stock 2018 too quiet...lol
40 miles left with a quarter tank?
The silver car sounds like dogshit, white car sounded better.
These two are definitely at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Jesus H. Cornpop... straight pipes sound absolutely awful on a Coyote platform.
Straight pipe FTW

Feel bad guy wasted his money on the magnaflo should have left it stock or just did a muffler delete lol

Straight pipe better
Not for a Gt. come one man
Quickest way to ruin an exhaust system...no crossover pipe...sad
Both almost out of gas LOL
Yeah, I left there and went straight to a gas station. LOL....owner of white convert.
Don't love either of them tbh
