If you file electronically your case basically don't get assigned to specific service center but to special category called IOE. You can check by looking at first three letters of your receipt number which correspond to the service center. It's impossible to track the request in case of IOE because actual service center which may review can change at any time.
Even if you file on paper, it can go electronically. I filled my I-130, I-485 and I-765 physically, and when it got to the CHICAGO LOCKBOX, it was assigned electronically. My 3 receipt notices came back as IOE. They got the papers on May 2nd, sent receipt notice on May 4th and my biometrics appointment is set on June 9th. Let's see how it goes after.
I filed i-130 for my sister back in 2015 out of New York. Case was sent to California Center with an average processing time of 140 months! If case was sent to Potomac center it would have been 29 months. It is completely unfair and immoral that some lucky people wait 29 months while others who might have filed much sooner will end up waiting 140 months. Doesn't make any sense at all.
It doesn’t really matter if the I-130 gets approved fast. The response will have the priority date that you will have to look for in the visa bulletin. Right now they current date is April 2007. My sister filed a petition for me last week and it shows 11 months until approval but I will have to wait until the visa bulletin shows April 2022…so like 15 years

We lived together for 3 months in Mexico but since his tourist visa to visit Mexico was about to expire he had to go back to Turkey. Now we want to apply for his Green Card, but we're afraid he gets rejected. We have proof of our relationship (pictures, plane tickets, etc.) but we don't know if the USCIS will take our relationship as real. Should we wait more to apply or is it OK to do it now? We also applied for the i130 - we applied in April 2021. Our application was denied without prejudice around May of this year because I left off a couple of pages from my US divorce. I was a little worried so we hired an attorney to re-open even though I could have completed it on my own. I think it is good to get an experienced attorney who can help you navigate if you can afford it. There are other videos here on RUclips explaining ways to expedite your case. if she's already here po in the US just file I-485 which is concurrent filing po together with the I-130 !!! but u can just file I-485 by paper only, notify the USCIS that u filed it concurrently

It tells you what they need on the application and how to fill it out. You need marriage certificate passports affidavit letters photos: on uscis website you can look for instructions for form i130. I see that the processing time in Texas service center is the shortest. I am in Virginia and I believe the jurisdiction of my state is Vermont. Is there a way to get my I-130 to be processed in Texas? I am trying to file it for a sibling.

Dear Jacob Sister is US Citizen (18 + year old) and her brother is 23 years old and working in USA after finishing F1 and currently on OPT I assume sister can sponsor for her brother after 21, The point here is the Brother is Born in Malaysia, (COUNTRY OF BIRTH) but has INDIAN Citizenship. Since you mention Priority Date depends on the country where he is Born. How long will it take in his case since he is born in Malaysia , I am aware he cannot come under Immediate Relative category, but probably Second. Classification.. Appreciate your response. My father's sister ,is us citizen . I filed the I-130 in aug 2021 me being a permanent resident for a spouse from California it’s been more than there is no movement at all when I go to case status online it only says being actively reviewed, I changed my address in the meantime and also updated the change of address through uscis.I also received the notice of address change but my uscis account has still the old address and when i try to change it it goes to the same address change lick which I already did.What is the next process will I get a notice soon, either in my email or my physical mail .Is there an another way to get an updated on my case. right now i only have a case number. Hello, my case F4 has been submitted to NVC, and I have been emailed with the file number and password, but I haven't received the welcome letter yet. and after I use the file number and password to enter, I cannot activate and pay. Due to the immigrant visa issuance limit imposed by law, this application is not currently eligible for further processing. The National Visa Center (NVC) will hold the application until the immigrant visa is issued. how long I have to wait.

I assume sister can sponsor for her brother after 21, The point here is the Brother is Born in Malaysia, (COUNTRY OF BIRTH) but has INDIAN Citizenship.

My father's sister ,is us citizen . I filed the I-130 in aug 2021 me being a permanent resident for a spouse from California it’s been more than there is no movement at all when I go to case status online it only says being actively reviewed, I changed my address in the meantime and also updated the change of address through uscis.I also received the notice of address change but my uscis account has still the old address and when i try to change it it goes to the same address change lick which I already did.What is the next process will I get a notice soon, either in my email or my physical mail .Is there an another way to get an updated on my case. right now i only have a case number. Shoul I be doing anything more?
