Thanks Cindy
Great video Jay and Jen. Looking forward to tomorrows video on my 75th birthday.
Whoa.....very nice. Woot woot and early happy birthday.....just in case you can't make it.
@@OffgridwithJayandJen thanks. Tomorrow my Sparrow Water Bottle is arriving. Thanks for letting us know about them.
Hey guys you should make a shelter for you sawmill to protect it .thank you for sharing i really appreciate it ❤❤❤❤
Well done you guys xx
Compost bin is a great idea. I'm sure you know but don't forget to add your left over fish carcasses. Fish is great for the soil.
For sure......I actually just bury them directly in the garden. Jen said no meat in the compost I guess.
And the fun continues.....
Good project,
Good morning from Alaska guys, guess it’s afternoon there
👋😊
Before it turns cold y’all might want to get some horse or cow manure and till it into your garden beds so it can fertilize the soil for next spring.
That works great. Probably should get the sawmill covered before winter.
Congratulations on 35k even though it should be much more. You both are educators, funny, loving and care about your videos that I love. love to both.❤
This made us Smile....thank you
Pretty nice...good location😊
Nice job loading those logs - heavy!
Resourceful. Good job
Thank you my friend
Great job on the water/ compost area!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job 🇬🇧😊
Gooder is the word you needed 😂
Lol 👍
So sweet awesome job
New useful project builds. Fun to watch the progress. Thumbs up Jay and Jen!
Thank goodness for the forest and your sawmill FREE WOOD for building projects. Are you going to cover your new pile of lumber with a tarp or just let it lay there? LOLOL ....or are you going to do a new project...just curious here Jay. Big hugs to you ALL.. am I going to regret this comment??? maybe lolol Teasing a bit??? maybe God Bless you all.
Lots of love my friend.....I leave the wood laying like that......gives it an even more Rustic look when I install it
@@OffgridwithJayandJen very good idea!!!
Nice Disc Golf skills, Jen! 😁
composting is fun! i should be using it in my vegetable garden but you see, i like my flower beds a lot.
Ha.....Jen will have that problem too I bet
Can wait to the next one.❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾
Nice job!😊
nice!
Hey Hey.....Thanks for watching Dave. 😊👍
Nice job on the composting bin!! I see that dog is still with you guys or is she going to be permanently living there now? She is so pretty!!
We had her for a week amd a half.....she is back home now. 😊 but we would keep her if we could, lol
👏👏👏👏👏 another great video. Love that you made a composting bin 👍👍
👍 good job
Sawdust leaves and those ashes from the fire, or your wood stove is good for the compost too.
Good to know! Thanks
Looks great 👍
Thanks 👍
Jay , those big heavy logs are going to get you sooner or later. Hate to hear you pop a hernia. Would a “come along” rigged up on the other side of the mill work ? Take care you all. 👍👍😊
I'll be more better Next time Sue.....I promise. Kind of stupid to flirt with injury I know
Love the water catchment area and the compost bin, i e recently installed 4 water tuts s we hadn’t had rain for ages and we had a hosepipe ban in Sussex, Uk, so installed the water butts from when we do get rain, we now have had lots of rain and the hosepipe ban had been lifted, I made a compost area from 3 pallets, it works well for me in an area were the sun doesn’t get it very much in my garden, I will be harvesting a few blueberries soon nearly ready but will have to wait next year for my lech tree to produce. Have a lovely week xxx
Very Nice Julia.....glad the Rain is cooperating now. long spurts without rain can be a bugger
Wow, y'all are really going at it! Looks great! Sawmill seemed to work well (with new blade)!🫤😉 Have a great week, JB, Darby, or whatever y'all call me!?
🐕🐕🐕👍👋😁
Lol.....you're keeping me on my toes with the name changes 😆
Another great video, always look forward to your newest one,,my favorite RUclipsrs ..WOOT!
Damm good job guys. SEMPER FI
The new composting bin looks fantastic ❤ Also Congratulations on 35k thats awesome 🎉
Looks great a lot of hard work and hope the compose works great but watch that animals don’t cause you problems.
Good job on the compost area. You can also put wood ash on the compost pile. Or direct on plant beds at time of flowering. (Fruit, veg or decorative flowers).
It’s getting better and better and I like this natural wood siding.
You 2 is hard worker and. Love it ❤
Great idea the compost may help the water from freezing, it does get hot , great plan
Looks amazing guys 👍
Looks fantastic!
Well done
Hello good working 👍
Wow you guys did great, 👏 😍 😳 ❤.
Nice Work!
I think the sawmill needs a cover house to protect it from the elements.
Hoping to get it done too. 😊
Man oh man, you guys are getting a lot of work done this Summer .. what a team ... "maybe" considering getting a small chipper ... why? There is many things the clippings can be used for .. from compost to using some to make wood stove fire starter ... pads with glue and epoxies etc. lots. ... you could use it as bios mass to spread on the ground in the woods.. helping the little soil critters ... the mill sure is keen.
Tolle Arbeit von euch beiden 👏🏻👍🤗
Good job 👍
Nice work 👍
Thanks Bubba for all the comments and for hanging out with us
Getting it done
No youtubers have a beer sponsor I would think there available in canada we do. All projects at,camp by how may beers cutting tree 2 beers hamburger 1 beer etc
Lol......that is a good point. Maybe I should email a few asking about sponsorships, lol
Take care with your back Jay. I have collapsed disks and arthritis in my spine and I have 24-7 pain. It is not fun.
If you can get an old oil tank for free you can cut in a door on one end and burn all your trash in it also weld in a smoke stack and it works anazing for burning trash in
That is a good idea....I like it
You continue to amaze me with all you accomplish I am curious,do you ever consider building a garage for your vehicles!??I would think the winters would be very hard on them?Hope you have a good weekend!Blessings!🌲🌜🌲🌜🌲
Maybe one day! But during the winter we can't drive up here anyway, we get in and out by snowmobile. We park at our neighbors property a mile or so away.
Thanks for answering my question!!🤗
❤️👍👍👍
Something looked broken or loose on you small trailer hitch!!!!!
Hummm....maybe the wires hanging or the pin? Not sure. Think it's ok
Hey guys congratulations on 35,000 subscribers 👏 I knew you'd get there. The composting & water tank look good 👍 Can't wait to see next year's expanded garden.
Thanks Lisa......Little at a time......with Subs and projects =)
While I am impressed with you using your brains as well as your back strength, I can tell you from experience, you need to do more, or you will pay a serious price one day, maybe soon, maybe later. You need to build a 6' wheeled dolly with a manual winch on it to raise the logs on one or both ends then roll them to where you want to load or use them. I have seen them used in small logging operation years ago, but don't know how to describe them, the log is slung under the device, simple yet so useful.
Silly thing is I have a Tractor for skidding logs....but I was only grabbing that one Log, LOL.....so I figured I could get it easy....was too big for what I did. I should get one of those devices you are talking about too....I can't think of the name either, LOL
I will try to locate a photo of what I am talking about, but it could even be towed by a truck or 4 wheeler.
👊😎👍
👍
Put you some of your sawdust in your compost.
Isee where more of the wood is going....
😊
🇳🇴👍👍👌
Solche Sachen deckt man ab dann verrosten sie auch nicht, und die Gewinde gehen nicht Kaputt.
Only advice I would have given was to put it further away from the house as it brings on mice and racoons
Ya maybe a little further would have been better
@@OffgridwithJayandJen love what your doing there, I am a farmer from Prince Edward Island Canada
Cool.....I'll have to google the location.....never heard of it.....but I'm not very well traveled, LOL. Appreciate your comments and suggestions.....keep them coming@@truth_farmer

Y'all job is never done Jay be careful lifting those heavy logs so you don't get a hernia ok 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I'll be better next time, thanks Mary
