"''But we're gonna do it anyhow'' is the key to your success sweet Emerald
Here in South Carolina the azaleas are blooming and the pine pollen has almost stopped after covering everything yellow for the past two weeks. Spring is headed your way. Keep cutting.
We are looking forward to it…Boss Man.
Good to see that the debarker is working again !!
The debarker gets lots of comments in every video! Working or not!
I see you've gotten the de barker working again. Another informative and entertaining presentation, keep them coming.
Awesome job ladies!!
Ya did it!! Ya got the
Big boys cut down to size!!
Congrats!!
👍🧙♂️🐺
Congrats on the tight squeeze. The first two cuts were actually perfect in that respect. Right to the minimum thickness possible!
Excellent job ladies, Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do! As daddy would say grin and bare it! Thanks for sharing and I hope ya'll have a great evening!
Nice job looks good
Love to see the different subject matter you guys are covering! Oak is a beautiful wood with potential for gorgeous grain patterns. Love you guys! Smile. 😄
That was a lot of fun!
Also, the camera work just gets better and better!
Another job well done ladies!! 👍
A few Amish families in my area have mills.
They do a great job!
Great job and video! The old North Leverett MA sawmill had a very long carriage; it cut keels for minesweepers in WWII. A cousin who was a forrester assesed standing lumber for the same purpose.
Very interesting…Boss Man.
Em and Jade, I know at work handling 16’ lumber can be a pain, now add two feet! Very nicely done and I know LCLY is good at filling niches! Nice work!
What do you do for work?
@@eviltomthai I work for a big box store. We sell lots of 16 footers and move them around helping contractors
This is where your knowledge and skill comes into play.
Great video as usual Girls
Not forgetting Bossman.
Good to see the de-barker is working again!
Awesome job really well done and skillfully executed to achieve the desired results. You and Jade really are talented in your work and make it look like art. Thanks for sharing this with us today ❤
Do you say your last name "Sha-vone" or "Sha-vone-ee"?
@@eviltomthai I often allow another to say it how they are able or comfortable really. Having been to 28 countries in the world while in military I learned correct language is defined by who and where things are spoken. My family did have a lumber yard in Wisconsin in the poy sippy area. So this channel is interesting to me. My family name is all around the world Italy New York Wisconsin everywhere. So to your question however you wish to say it is fine. Just don’t call me late for dinner 😆
@@paulschiavone77 you're awesome!!!!
im always surprised by the lack of gloves you guys are tough, once i moved just 12 boards from the truck to the house and got a bunch of splinters, i cant imagine doing that everyday and not wearing some gloves
The wood is still wet, you don't really get splinters off of wet wood.
I said that one applauses and surprised your new big and long log WOW!!!
Nice job. Love the continual caffeine shots while working.
The canopy is 2-3 meters too small, so the support beams get in the way. With a few old steel girders from a disused factory or old railway girders, such a roof without walls can be easily constructed and welded together... I still enjoy watching your videos, two cool and beautiful women at work every day.
Bigger roof isn’t needed... The ladies don’t get wet sawing. Lumber and firewood seasoned doesn’t change with raindrops or snow flakes 🤷♂️😏😎👌🏻👍🏻✌️
I'm a fan of old steel girders...have two sons weld for a living...immensely strong.
Price of scrap.
Legal on a farm😁👍
18ft is pretty long so good job getting what you needed. Another fine video ladies. Thank you.👍♥️♥️
Thanks for another informative video ladies.
It looks like somebody has ordered some really sturdy floor joists !
A very Technical Cut Em. Well done Team. Debarker working again!
Awesome job. I'm still scratching my head, trying to figure out how.
Great job as always
Good job ladies. Great explanation on what you were up to and great camera work.
You rose to the challenge and prevailed. So many young people would have just walked away. The boss must be very proud. I’m just a viewer and I’m proud of you all. Cheers!
Nailed it!
Charles.
Another great video thanks Emerald and Jade.
Nice to see you getting more and more comfortable in front of camera!
Great work. Noticed y'all are already at 117K Congratulations!!!
🙏🙏
Good job, best wishes always 🙏👍❤️❤️❤️
so nice to see that you have added so many new subscribers...Great job!!!
Nice job those are pretty longboards handle
Hi...hard to find long lumber here...
16,ft mostly. I can saw 16ft.
Anything longer have to go to the USA to get in it.
Nice job !
I see the debarker is working.
Great job getting the yield needed to fill the order.
Another great Milling job I love the way you pay attention to all the little aspects of mailing Dwayne from Saskatchewan Canada
Good job Em. Great camera work Jade with some awesome closeup angles 👍👍👍
Like to see the debarker work on the sawmill. Thanks🇺🇲
Neat work, girls.
Talent supported by knowledge and determination equals success!!!!!
Thanks!
Proof that you are professional sawyer's. 😉
You guys are great.
Thank you
Excellent planning to fill your customers order!!
Incredible camera work 👏
I notice you mill full dimensional lumber usually. Since when we go to the lumber yard we get nominal sized lumber mostly, how do customers use your wood? Do you expect they will dry it and plane it? In this video they've asked for lumber milled to nominal sizes. How does that work in construction (is it going to shrink a lot?) and what usually happens with the lumber you cut in terms of further curing and milling?
Good questions!!!!!
lol the cup at 5:50 was a real cliff-hanger
New to the channel.this is bad ass.you do an excellent job.
Awesome work as always. Hope your star shines bright.
Amazing and awesome video and amazing job, As always thanks for the video u both
outstanding! great camera work💯🏆
Red Oak is heavy dense log for structure like in pole barns. Some of the builds in the area will have your wood holding up the roof or that extra large door opening. Nice work
Beautiful.
Looks like we both have more snow coming yuck. Have a good end of the week.
nice job emerald!
Realy amazing tecknologi
Alway refreshing and a joy to see you and your sister working together in harmony
I love the rocking music 😂
Emerald, nothing at all to do with lumber and this video, but I won't be around in 50 years to see you become the King of whatever you want to do! You have that 'thing' about you, and it's a gooood thing!
Hi,what a big feature that cut wood return fixture is.
Em, the beam you refer to seems more like a cross brace to me that a beam !!
She is not a building engineer. Give her a break !
Nice work!
Great woodmizer music today!
I'm already one of your local customers but had no idea you have a YT channel! 😎
That's a good size log!!
Mike.
Good job M & J
Wow, great video! I liked it very much)
You might want to check alignment of debarker with band saw blade. Looks like debarker riding just above the cut.. not centered.
Another excellant video although prefer your usual less anxious music.
one good thing is that the log was skinny and not some monstrous piece of wood. It looked like it turned easily enough.
Good job girls
Brava, ladies!
Great video
Nice job ladys
EB: sorry, I may be repeating my question, it looks like I didn't hit the right button. ANYWAY ... it really looks like the LT40 gets a real workout, and does a lot of work for the business. I was curious if the blades can be sharpened or are they throw-away after some term of service? You really have a great channel, I think it's fascinating learning about your trade. Keep up the good work!
You guys are my hero's 😁
Good job Ladies.
Do you account for blade thickness when making cuts? Noticed that last cut came out perfectly. Must be acounted for eh?
@rc,
Once they programs the thicknesses in, it is automatically set by the computer, and the saw kerf is figured into the cut setting.
Good tunes!
117 thousand subscribers outstanding to all
We know Jade can do it!!!
You need to get a replica of your 100K subscriber award on your sign (when they get around to sending you one which can take some time).
The 100K mark is not rare and IMO it is a marketing gimic of YT to help YT. I would not bother. I am curious if their customers are YT devotees of the channel.
Back when bulkhead flat cars where common on railroads, we would get orders for funky 5.25x7 or mabe it was 5.75x7 a way strange size to cut.
they wanted it full size, spot on those dementions.
.
It was like are you really that scared of people stealing these things, that you want it to be a funky size LOL.
.
Center beam cars, have mostly taken over there use. And they have no lumber on the ends.
Good job as that is what the customer wanted and that is what he got out of the two logs. COOL!! That is how profit is made by squeezing out the goods.
Nice one
👍 thanks
You should watch “Milling live oak in the Deep South”. It’s for a boat build.
Seems like it would be better if over length logs to use the lt15 true it be more manual but no issues with clearances
Beauty and brains
Do you offer planed boards?
"... we got it done." Keep this perspective.
How Big Was It???? Why it was this Big!!!!!! Sounds like a Fish Story To Me!!! 😁😁😁😎😎😎🤗🤗🤗😉😉😉🙂.
I just looked up your price list very very fair prices on four and a half hours away from you Southern Maryland how would I find out about shipping
i'm still waiting for my order of a 5 pound bag of splinters.
Good job girls 👌😉🐝
Always be safe.
Peace.
Have you guys ever worked a rotary mill?
Nice work girls. xo
