Bossman - Your girls surely deserve a special bonus for working in the rain. Just look at that huge stack that was delivered at the end of their shift. Greetings from South Africa,
No matter what you girls hang on to your positive attitudes. Keep on making the best of everything and I will keep on enjoying your videos. I noticed Jade carving in her spare time 😊.
your videography is getting pretty amazing. The shot of the rain falling off the roof added a unique dimension to the work you are doing. I can really notice a difference in the past 6 months. Good job! I can feel the weather and smell the wood!
I hope Jade is okay, after getting hit by the sawmill. She dos so much. I see she does all the grunt work. She rock. 10000 thumbs up to Jade. You both do an awesome job. Peace and love to all!
They can't all be sunshine and lollipops, but one thing I do know is that it sure as hell beats working in an office cubicle all day long. After the long, hot, dry summer last year some moisture sure is a blessing. Take care and God bless!👊🏼🇺🇸
It probably took you all night to warm up. Great work ethics and great parents. Boss man and boss lady have to be proud of the job they did raising you.
Always remember, white oak bows quickly. You have to turn the cant after every cut to get consistent board thicknesses. Even after that you might get one thick and thin. A lot of stress in the log.
Another great video this time with Jade on the mill and I presume Emerald on camera. I like these videos because in a complex world with so much divisiveness it's just nice to watch people doing something that seems peaceful to me. Thanks for that, and the cut lumber looks amazing in the rain like it's been polished. Here's hoping for better weather soon🙂 🌻🌻
Sorry you ladies had to work in the rain, but rest assured sugar lumps it don't melt. Thanks for sharing your rainy day with us and have a great dry evening. TTFN
we all know Emerald enjoys seeing the grain and colors on freshly milled lumber so a bit of rain isn't all bad. Great day's work and video Emerald and Jade (and Boss Man cameo appearance).
That's discipline and a good work ethic to work out in the weather you all do. You know you have a job to do and you just do it. Impressive. I was also surprised to see Jade carving my saying that I put at the end of most of my comments, onto the post by the mill. I'll be in the area in two weeks - hope to be able to stop by and meet and talk to everyone. Looking forward to it. Take care and be safe all. Memento vivere!
LOL! Not getting that off until mid-summer! And the Boss Man coming to check on progress. Glad the rain slacked off a little, but that wet wood grain was beautiful.
Something to think about. If you put a gutter along the roof eve by your mill and add a downsoput on the end next to the highway you could collect the rain watter. The barrel could be open topped as the water will spill over and go to where it was headed before the gutter. The rainwater is the BEST thing for indoor plants. I know that you have an indoor garden and the rainwater doesn:t have any added chemicals in it. Your plants will Love it. 😎😎
Very nice refreshing video, sorry about the miserable spring weather. How yucky it was to work today was so very readable on Jade's face as she stacked the pieces. Emerald your hair was vibrant regardless of the weather, liked the sneaky shot of Ken, the rain coming off the roof and the mini floods. A very very nice video I thank you for including us.

Bonjour Jade ! Vous faîtes des merveilles en famille ! Vous devriez ajouter la fabrique de pellets (pour barbecue et poêle à pellets !) pour vous débarrasser de la sciure et déchets à compacter en pellets ! Bravo pour ce que vous faîtes. Hello Jade ! You are doing wonders with your family! You should add the pellet factory (for barbecue and pellet stove!) to get rid of the sawdust and waste to be compacted into pellets! Congratulations for what you do.
Working outside in the rain, snow, direct sunshine & overcoming obstacles is all part of building a reputation for getting the job done. The show must go on. I worked outside rough carpentry for 10yrs. I have the preverbal "fair" skin w/ Red hair and Blu eyes. I had to have protection or I'd be laid up. From -15°F w/ wind & snow in January to rain showers & 100°F in direct sun summer. Walls had to go up, shingles had to go on. You have to have the right PPE to stay healthy. So, head on down to a farm store and pickup some raingear so you can bear it w/ out getting sick. ben/ michigan
I’ve worked outdoors most of my working life wind was the one condition I moaned about working in, but that was when I was younger, as an old guy I still moan about wind plus cold, rain and heat.
Ladies another place you could sell your oaks etc is to restaurants that use wood for pizza ovens, grills, smokers etc. Harvested from the bush, by small operator ensuring the organic wood harvested in a low impact to the "forest" I would bet that it would eventually be shipped by the pallet loads.
thought I had missed today's video... but what miserable weather. Hope you spent the rest of the day someplace warm and dry with cocoa. Question: is there a point where the wood becomes too wet to cut?
Everything wrong with our society and it’s work ethic ic NOT represented here. Nice to see the younger generation with talent and “gumption “ represented here. Love this, and thank you.
This must be the best video production yet! The rain, the music, the videography, the editing, did I mention the very appropriate music? It all went together to create the perfect working-on-a-rainy-day feeling. A spring rainy day..... Thank you!!
I sometimes really dig the music you attach to your vids, I had to buy "Rain is Here" off itunes tonight after hearing it id'd off shazam, very nice choice! Being 67 I like the more mellow stuff ;-) Of course, when I was your age I thought Deep Purple and Aerosmith was good music ! lol
Bossman - Your girls surely deserve a special bonus for working in the rain. Just look at that huge stack that was delivered at the end of their shift. Greetings from South Africa,
Your family and the respect you have for each other to make the log yard work is inspiring. Much respect.
Warms my heart seeing these young ladies with a great work ethic and not afraid to use it!
That is so true. A great family life goes a long and fulfilling way.
@@Biff-fm1mh I do not see them being long term at the family business. (I.e. - Zac and Sami)
@@steveallen648 they do more by accident than you do on purpose skippy
your family is beautiful strong and clearly close. dont take a single moment for granted. youre all very blessed to have this family and career
No matter what you girls hang on to your positive attitudes. Keep on making the best of everything and I will keep on enjoying your videos. I noticed Jade carving in her spare time 😊.
I'm shocked you girls didn't melt!!!!
your videography is getting pretty amazing. The shot of the rain falling off the roof added a unique dimension to the work you are doing. I can really notice a difference in the past 6 months. Good job! I can feel the weather and smell the wood!
Awesome shot of a properly installed drip edge doing its job of making water drip and not against the building.
I find it relaxing to watch the wood being sawn.
I’am a retired telephone splicer, so I’am familiar with working outside in the rain. You girls make it look easy. I’m sure
I hope Jade is okay, after getting hit by the sawmill. She dos so much. I see she does all the grunt work. She rock. 10000 thumbs up to Jade. You both do an awesome job. Peace and love to all!
Nice to actually see Jade.

Very safe and professional work. Areas kept clear and clean , equipment well kept even in the wet. Bravo for setting the standard and keeping it.
Have to agree with other, outstanding filming and piecing together the clips. Could almost feel the rain running down my neck. Great milling too.

Ugly weather with two beautiful girls, who always hard work. Best wishes from the other side of the world and thanks for sharing your life.
Have a wonderful weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤
great captures of soggy wet day in the yard
Absolutely fabulous seeing young people working hard. Sad to see the young lady never looking happy doing the work.

A lumber yard in central PA that offers the most and best wood from soft to hard east of the Mississippi.
I believe you’ve upgraded your camera equipment. Really enjoying your videography and editing.
Great rainy day music
Keep warm
Great footage ❗ well done💯👍🏆❤️
Thanks!
As always nice job ladies
Same rainy weather here in Warren County and lots of mud
Rain makes logs heavier sawdust stuck everywhere and just an annoyance.makes the fact work didn’t stop that much more impressive .

You girls will out work a lot of guys and put up with the harsh weather conditions. 👍
Em and Jade always barking up the right tree 😄
Great job, I really enjoy your work.

Yeah very cool to se latest generation love working whit lumber
Great video and good to see that subscriber count rolling higher and higher.
Nice video. Love the smell of White Oak!
Dad Burnt it girls, just when I was climbing off of cloud 9.
Try putting a large piece of plastic in and over the sides of the dump bed. The wet sawdust will slip right of the bed with a lot less clean out
thought I had missed today's video... but what miserable weather. Hope you spent the rest of the day someplace warm and dry with cocoa. Question: is there a point where the wood becomes too wet to cut?
Awesome!
really great camera work in your videos.
Good job Girls. Jade needs some shoulder pads to f that’s the way the mizer wants to play! Lol 👍👍👍

Singing in the Rain 😊
I love this.
If that rain was snow, it would be a real mess. Have a coffee Anand power thru.
