The old bar routines had much more variety than today, especially when traveling from the low to high bar. Now it seems that all the routines look the same.
That might be the case but these routines were incredibly damaging to the athlete bodies- the belly beats in particular. Many a gymnast was left unable to have children after leaving the sport sadly.
