Is the washer for the dsg bolt a crush washer? When tightening I felt it give a little at the end. Not sure if I stripped the threads or crushed the washer. I didn’t have a torque wrench.
Bit confused, when u open the drain plug for the first time, quite a lot comes out. Would you say it was previously overfilled? The next time you service this car, hardly any fluid should come out when you undo the drain plug right? Most videos show loads coming out, which suggest to me their dsgs been overfilled
I do gearbox service once a year on every car. You will have few liters come out of old oil each time you let it off during the service. It was never overfilled. I do let ouverflow out at the end of each video

it needs to be on when checking temperture otherwise the gearbox wont warm up to let overflow out.
