  • At the remote, lush, uninhabited Cocos Island, 300 miles off the coast of Costa Rica, Jonathan witnesses a nightly hunting ritual. Dozens of Whitetip Reef sharks join together into roving gangs to hunt fish in the reef. But sometimes the fish are pretty good at getting away.

    I know on a general level, night diving has Sense of adrenal leisure, how ever it feels or seems as the artificial light timing has a dis-true or dis- accuracy with feeding innocence and how that change or dis-safety might alter distress/ relief implicationa.
    Other than the feeding reasons i feel there is so much more benefits with noctural secrets we can learn from unseen spaces courted.
    Very insightful orientatios you shared with us. Thank you.

    I've been watching your videos for awhile now, and I really enjoy them, but I have always wondered, do you dive with Nitrox or regular air?

    • @BlueWorldTV
      @BlueWorldTV  9 лет назад

      Epicdarkhate It totally depends on the depth. Nitrox is good for what can be described as "intermediate" depths. Shallow diving is fine on air because nitrox doesn't really buy you anything. Deeper dives can't be done with nitrox because the higher oxygen % makes it toxic. So in between say 50-120 feet, nitrox can really extend no decompression limits. If I'm working in those depths and nitrox is available on location, I will always use it.

Also l just wanted to say that l always loved the ocean and the animals that call it their home. I wanted to be a Marine Biologist as a little kid, but then l forgot about it. I started watching your videos about 2 months ago and have watched every video. You have gotten me to now be determined to pursue my dream of being a marine biologist. I hope to attend Coastal Carolina University where they give their marine science students an opportunity to take a shark program in the Bahamas!
