For anyone interested in the tinygo: Its worth noting that GepRC has updated/upgraded the Tinygo a few times since its release.
Theyve upgraded the controllers twice. Theyve updated the body on the drone itself. Theyve upgraded the VTX on the drone. And theyve upgraded the flight controller on the drone.
The current Gr8 controller is no longer AA powered, and instead uses either 2 18650 battery cells, or a 2s battery- and has a USB port to recharge either. Biggest note however is the controller uses ELRS- And the upgrade on the drones flight controller is to reflect that.
The VTX of the drone also has 400 mw output now as well, versus the older models 200 mw output.
Smaller change is theyve also updated the charger- It has a plastic body on it now but the board is different, and it can only charge 2 of the batteries at once (has 4 ports, but the other 2 ports are for a different style connector). Has a nice LED display showing voltage.

I think iflight line of BNF are the best for the money. Still have my nasgul v1 5 inch when they first came out with the Frsky receiver. It was so good I got the V2 6s version
That's not what this video is about.
The Iflight BNF's are great, but they are not really suited for beginners.
That's why I said I think it's the best ""BNF"". Video is about FPV drones and RTF & BNF are relatively in the same group. And that's completely false. U can fly this exact drone I mentioned with the equipment he using with the correct receiver for the controller he's using and vtx for the goggles.
Also iflight makes great beginner 1s and 2s drones. As I said my fav is the 4 & 6s

Great Video, I want to get into the hobby with my dad. We both wear glasses though - are these fpv goggles fine to use with glasses?
Might be too small for glasses.
you can prob by some google lenses to put in the goggles to help

Lol I did want to pick a good (Or at lest cool) non DJI drone for the Grand Daughter to fly. So I guess I let you talk me into it. Lol But if I go down I'm taking you with me! It's ALL your fault! I have no mind of my own! (Yup that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)
Well good news! We have 4 kids under 10 and I have one whose completely addicted now to flying fpv. He is asking daily to fly batts with the Star Gazer. The first day he was flying gaps under the trellis. They advance quick! We love it as a family drone
why did you get the stargazer get the tinygo its better and it will last longer because the stargazer is so limited
A kid costs like more then 400K USD. Give it 400 and be share happyness flying
