Loving this it’s motivating me to get more serious about mine. Just finished the EJ257, sti 6 Speed DCCD conversion. What sort of coilovers are you guys running?
What's your clutch setup like? Cable or hydraulic? Have you considered shortening the clutch fork with a 15 to 20 degree bend on the fork arm to shorten the time of gear engagement?
Never heard of this before? But it sounds logical, since this video the gc8 has gone PPG sequential, we just haven't filmed an update video of the new setup yet.
@@BuiltByBlake the clutch fork arm itself can be shortened an slightly bent. It's amazing as to how quick gear changes can be deployed. Not sure if the rules of racing allow it though....
Only coilovers, whiteline anti lift kit, and replaced every bush with replacements from whiteline for some piece of mind. At the end of this little gc8 series I'll be doing a full sit down on what's on the car from top to bottom, and what's the plans for the future. 🤘🏼
@@BuiltByBlake nice...pretty much what I heve in mine. I also have the alloy lca's, bump steer correction kit, rear subframe lockout bolts front chassis brace. Front and rear strut braces and swaybars. They handle well with those few mods hey.
Niceee!!! The GC8 is legendary AF. Love the car. We have 03 WRX Subaru. Love the video!
True! The gc8 has some of that old school rally heritage in her 🤘🏼
@@BuiltByBlake we been thinking about finding one and building
Awesome. Ours is getting pretty out of hand now. Will be some mad content coming out of these bad boy on the coming months
looking good Blake! Get some front alloy control arms and anti lift kits to save your life!
On the to do list mate! Need some extra width. Watch this space, big things coming 😏
