Hey Jill, do you encounter lots of tiny rocks during your outdoor skating? I’ve seen a few videos on how to get over them. What’s your advice, fast feet? I prefer to avoid sections of the pavement with these, but you can’t always do that when they pop up on you! Thanks 😊
I ride through this in my back lane on my way out to the street. Spring is a bad time for sand and gravel from snowmelt before the street sweepers come out. I wear the biggest wheels I have (78mm) and lift the toes, ride the heels of my skates. Just a little. If it’s more than I can swerve or roll through, I toe stop walk through. I find fast feet to be clumsy and throws me off balance.
