  • Freshwater velvet, also known as gold dust disease, is one of the most common parasitic infections found in aquarium fish. Unfortunately, it killed many fish in my 125 gallon aquarium.

    How did you treat the velvet? I can’t seem to find a good picture of velvet, I have no idea what it looks like still but just found white spots on 2-new tetras.

    the red tail barracuda is a characin not a tetra.
