Good casting choices. However, I don't think that this series would do a reboot. Instead, I'm thinking that Dom should pass the torch to a new, younger group here some time in the future. Now, realistically, the "next generation" would be lucky to make it to 2-4 movies on their own, but it would still be fun to see.
The next fancast I'd like to see you do next is a Recasting series for every single character from within the Kingdom Hearts Cinematic Universe for Disney Plus.

The Winston Duke choice took me by surprise but wow, I need this reboot.
With all the casting news about Superman would you consider making a video about casting him and his supporting characters and villains. I know you once said David Corenswet went in and it looks like he might be one of the top contenders.
I hope David Corenswet would become Superman, he seems perfect for the role since Henry Cavill departed from the role. Speaking of casting, I seriously think Billy Zane SHOULD play Lex Luthor! His performance in “Titanic” as Cal Hockley show he can play an arrogant snob who you could see looking down on the working class, & he’s actually pretty hot with a shaved head. He also has the charisma & voice for the part, especially if James Gunn considers making Luthor PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! “So Billy Zane, as Lex Luthor.” 😊

I'm personally still waiting for more video game castings, mainly a Sonic casting. But Zelda, Kingdom Hearts or even Fire Emblem can still work!

there was this animated LEGO movie that got cancelled a few years ago called The Billion Brick Race which looks like it was gonna be racing focused, if they ever brought that movie back to life, i feel like this cast would be perfect

Best way to do the reboot is as a show. Imagine seeing brian and roman past in arizona, dom post juvie and building his team, the early fueds with johnny and the traid, brains early work as a cop, meeting of tej, the bandoleros. So far im picturing an 8 to 12 episode seasons. As for mia thats an easy fix give her jacobs role and remove jacob all together hell make him a new character not connected to dom fathers. Also lets have the whole espionage thing be later down the line. Most of these races and theft could be agaisnt cartels and crime organizations think the ocean series but with cars.

Also, some may disagree, but I think Winston Duke would work much better for the character Luke Hobbs or a much older Tej. As for who I’d pick to play Dominic Toretto and/or Letty, since they of worked together already in a similar movie about speed, I think Danny Ramirez would be great for Dom and Monica Barbaro as Letty. You probably don't know them since they're not well-known people, but if you saw them in Top Gun: Maverick then you'll know who I'm talking about. I will say Ramirez may have to work on the voice and sounding more intimidating, but considering his action movie work, I think he does have potential for a good Dominic Toretto.
Edit: So I did a quick search and if this is suppose to be a first movie, these 4 characters ages would have to be around 20 - 25. Therefore, the actors need to be that age or look like that, while looking quite mature still.

Mia Toretto: Jenna Ortega (Scream)
Dominic Tortetto: Mason Gooding (Scream), Keenan Johnson (Cut Throat City), Dylan O'Brien (Maze Runner; Yeah he's 31 but I still thinks he's looks young enough to pull 25.)
Brian O'Connor: Tanner Buchanan (Cobra Kai)
Im pretty mixed on The Tanner Buchanan Casting Of Brian. On a positive note, he defiitely has elements of the character down. Hes got the look, The lack of a parental figure/Daddy Issues(Brian never knew his own dad), & has this journey that involves him being a liar to his extended family (Dom's Crew/LaRusso Family). He has qualities & elements of the character. Tanner is a great actor & I loved his role as Robby in CK but I feel like he's missing 1 big thing that made Brian a beloved character. He lacks the level of charisma. Robby is an amazingly written character & he does have charimsa but not the same multilayers that Brian has. Plus, Tanner's Robby is too much of a angsty nice guy & Brian ain't angsty. Brian is more than your typical nice guy, he's a thrill seeker & Tanner sorta lacks that element. Plus, I cant see Tanner have Paul's level of chemistry when interacting with The Family. Tanner feels better suited to play characters like Jim Hawkins from Treasure-Planet, Tommy Oliver In A Power-Ranger Reboot, Harry Osborn/Ben Reilly In Spider-Man, or any version of Robin (Mainly between Dick Grayson Or Jason Todd) in any Batman related Project.
@@victorphan6274 , well to be honest it was either him or Xolo Maridueña or Jacob Bertrand (Both from Cobra Kai too), since they probably have a bit more charisma. But I didn't choose them because I personally think Jacob particularly would work better for the role for Jesse (1st movie), and because I felt that by adding actors from the same show, it would be a bit lazy. But what do you think? Would Xolo work for Brain?

That is a great suggestion! Eternals too even though I doubt Bryan will ever do a video on his own casting ideas for the Eternals characters. I have repeated that suggestion more than once after all which is all the more reason to believe he'll never do a video going over his own casting choices for the Eternals characters.

While I do think all these picks are very great and amazing. I was expecting a cast of a lot younger so they can take the franchise a lot further in the future when doing different things.
Please do a recast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, in the same vein as the Chris Pine movies. You could have Zac Efron as Will Riker, John Boyega as Geordi La Forge, Idris Elba as Worf, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Crusher, Paul Bettany as Data, Allen Leech as Chief O’Brien, and David Tennant as Q.

idk if its a hot take, but it probably is, I kinda prefer dylan o'brien to play brian o'connor, not only does he look like paul, he has the same demeanor and vibes that paul has, and he can be a believable cop/surfer dude

While all fine actors, they all read as older than the early-mid 20's characters as portrayed in the 1st movie, at least to me. I'd definitely love to see you tackle the rest of the cast, though.
Also, according to the wiki, Brian in the first movie is suppose to be about 23 years old, and Dom is about 25. But then again, that’s gonna be a lot to ask for since most people around that age or too youthful and boyish still.
@@osmanyousif7849 I don't think that would be too much of a stretch as Walker had played a lot of high school characters prior to F&F. Dacre Montgomery is the only one I'd buy in that age range, although I think he's closer to 30.
@@Rell80 , well it kinda does matter since in the first movie Mia is 20, Jakob (if this reboot wants to introduce him) is about 22 - 24, and Letty is 18. And let's not get started with the fact the Dom and Letty were starting to become romantically involved when she was 16 YEARS and Dom was 23. And considering how Hollywood today would find that "problematic", Letty's character here would need to be aged up a bit. Which is also why I don't see Winston Duke, who's 36 years old to be Dom if this is the 1st movie in a reboot.
@osmanyousif7849 agreed, they definitely wouldn't have that same age difference for Dom and Letty. My guess is everyone would be portrayed between 20-26.

I’m surprised that very little bring up the fact that the series is, basically a ripoff of Point Break, where an undercover FBI agent named John Utah (who was played by “Whoa” actor Keanu Reeves) takes on a mission to bring down a bunch of robbers, who instead of racing, they surf. And in that movie, he also befriends, their leader Bodhi (Played by pretty-boy stud himself, Patrick Swayze). And yeah, I still feel like that should’ve been turned into a whole series instead of what we got with Fast and Furious….
