you gotta remember the plaid can be had for like 60k used which is absolutely insane. Also despite being the cheapest here, the plaid actually has the most advanced e motors because they have carbon sleeved rotors. This allows the car to deliver peak torque constantly, so if you watched carefully it actually pulls on the Lucid at the top end in that roll race despite having 200hp less. Both the Rimac and the Lucid have a more conventional motor setup so they are limited by gearing as the speed increases, which is why the Rimac despite having almost 2000hp 'only' has a top speed of 258mph.

The Rimac needed a driver that can actually launch, over half a second slower than the Carwow guy and he get's those times virtually every time
you should react to the Mcmurtry speirling races/review by carwow. That thing is wild too
Actually lucid motors are way way smaller than the teslas
Every car with a v8 engine does not same hp. Same goes with electric cars. Every car with 3 electric motors doesn't have the same hp
Def gonna have to look up what else factors in. That Lucid is incredible. Thanks!!
