I had a similar experience not long ago, I was trying to catch everything in the game, and I was catching a cetitan and panned around while saying "let's see if there's anything else in the area I need, nope just psyduc-" and there was a shiny Psyduck, I went and caught it and after I caught it I said " ok now let's see if there's anything else i need" and panned around again and there was just another shiny psyduck just chilling there, I wasn't even shining hunting, they were the first shinies I got in this game and were full odds, I was baffled

I feel you on the Poison 2 sandwich. I was hunting for Salazzle and I ended up with 2 Meditates, a Medicham, a Yungoose, a Snorunt, and a Gible. Also 3 shiny MALE Salandits :')
I tend to hatch any eggs I breed (which is quite a lot as I collect and trade aprimons) in Alfornada Cavern... the amount of random shinies I've found is insane. Among them at least 12 shiny Salandits (2 female) and 1 shiny Salazzle over the course of ~2.5 months. That's with shiny charm just no sandwiches or outbreaks.

No joke, I actually have bad memories of Shiny Psyduck. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet had just come out, and I didn't know that you had to talk to trainers to battle them, so I spoke to the first trainer you fight (other than Nemona and Arvin), and I started to move the camera around, and in the background, I saw a full odds shiny Psyduck. I tried to finish the fight as fast as possible, but it was too late; it had gone out of bounds and despawned, and I was devastated. I eventually caught one after I beat the game, but nothing will fill in the pain of missing out on a shiny on day one of a brand-new Pokemon game.
Caught one in Y, the devastation is no joke when I realized I lost that copy..I have X, idk when I lost Y but it's gone :( Reclaimed that shiny yesterday on Legends Arceus! Not as much excitement as the first one I caught (or as much as the 3 other shinies I got)..but I'm pleased to have them back.
I think the reason why shiny pokemon sometimes don't respawn when reloading a save has to do with where the player is standing relative to where the shiny decides to spawn. If a player is standing right where a pokemon is meant to spawn, I think the game chooses not to spawn the pokemon.
I had a Magikarp horde up on a small-ish lake in the mountain area, so i tried hunting for it for like 8 hours (no sandwhiches) The game didnt want me to have a shiny Magikarp, so i instead got 4 full odds shinies instead, being Cetoddle, Nacli, Snorunt, and Cubchoo (in that order)
tips you can throw a pokeball and lock on the target. forgot the button but if you look at the handbook in key items you should be able to find it. great vid bro👍🏻
I got 4 shiny voltorb in 1 hour and 3 shiny hisuian voltorb in 30 minutes(the first one I was climbing the mountain and it's the first thing I saw) they all just kinda showed up💀
I have two shiny‘s in my Pokémon scarlet see, if I am, and they, my first shiny with a shiny growler, and I got into an argument. My second shiny I was just sitting around of my Morada, cried on, and I just found a Chinese Labre psychotic.
Don't worry I missed a shiny clodsire and I took a picture of it with a family of woopers behind it and looking back I realized it was shiny a few days ago 😂

that thing where the flareon didnt respawn happened to me, accidentally evolved my mail kirlia into gardevoir and hadnt saved after i caught it so i reset and it didnt respawn so i had to reset like 10 more times just for it to teleport and me have to reset again
I gotta go with the vivid purple Slowbro being my favorite fully evolved mon out of the ones in this list. While gold fish, orange clam and blue duck get a tip of the hat for the first stage mons.
that’s just it though, grimer should theoretically be a pretty easy hunt!! i just got super unlucky, or it was taunting me.. either way i have two of them as a result of this video 🤦♀️
