That last shot is simply....PERFECT! The work on that tree is amazing (I guess it's not going to any shows lol) The green on that blue dragon maple really stood out something special and that black pine is WOW!!! EISEI-EN!
Finally achieved just like Japanese master level, congrats I just following from past 10 Years from the journey of your apprenticeship, Well done 👏. Anil From India 🇮🇳
Hahaha yeah since couple weeks the birds startet to build their nests and steal all my moos and leaving a mess on my Tables. I actually enjoy the birds but not in that View.
Hi Bjorn! Absolutely stunning,i was fascinated by the beauty of these trees. Very compliments and thank you always for sharing your fantastic videos! 👍👍👍👍👍
Very cool to see trees that you and your father have been working on for over 20 years. I’m working on young trees on my channel that I hope to look back on in 20 years and be blown away by the progress too. Keep up the great work 👍
@@getintothewildwithjeffruma8777 I say never be in show not that I don't think mine are worthy. I personally don't like glory, ribbons, or trophies or do well in large crowds. Who knows I might change my mindset later in life just to have people enjoy my work.
What a great garden. I have started building my own and have a new sensitivity for the workload involved. I really enjoy seeing the making of, the structures, wood, layouts etc, keep it coming.
Great garden and description of your trees. Awesome climate there with the humidity. Beautiful area Apalacia. Wow the flowering apricot is massive now! 😊 How similar is the climate there to the areas of Japan that the trees come from and how important is this for their longterm health? Great vid!
Overnight temperatures can be a little tricky at this time of year. Some of my clients a few years back unfortunately lost some chinese elms. We had 21C during the day and freaky -1C the very next night (London suburbs UK). I doubt that will happen again any time soon.
I remember the beast, is still brutal... I have a question. These kaedes have trunks split in half?? Seems to be done with machine?? Why?? Are they gonna be hokinachi or is to get conicity?? Really interesting!!!!!!!
Hello Mr Bjornholm, I collected a 24 y/o Juniper 4 weeks ago and it seems the growth has indeed reverted back to juvenile foliage. Is there any way to estimate how long it will take to mature again or do I just need to feed and wait?
bjorn whats your opinion on tanuki? if an amazing tree dies would you make it into a tanuki? could there be a viable tanuki category in the national show??
So cool and so beautiful

Yes this time of year is a pain. I carry trees outside in the morning just to carry them back in in the evening 🤨😂 What we do for our trees👍
Beautiful! Where did you get the black baskets at 20:16 for the Japanese black pine?
These look like pond baskets available from any garden centre and aquatics stores.
@@TheBonsaiGarden Thats it.
Unbelievable.
Wish I was in the US so I could see these in person..
Wow!
Have you worked with California Pygmy Cypress?
