Rafa, gracias por compartir. I started doing bonsai for the same reason, work was stressing and causing anxiety. I hope to take a leap as you did one day and just step away from my work and start doing something that will be better for my health and that I enjoy. Thanks for posting Bjorn.
Beautiful video for many reasons. I felt it important to point out how much I appreciate the levels of scrutiny these trees and, exported plants in general, are subjected to before export. So many horrible diseases/insects have wiped out prized native species. I’m sure other countries have examples too but for me, I’ve never seen an American Chestnut like they used to be.
Very compliments Rafa for sharing this video about your story, now you have a great and beautiful collection of trees and most of them are really beautiful bonsai!👍👍👍👍😉
very pleasant, by caring for bonsai we can reduce stress and fatigue after work. The mind can be calm when we do maintenance and make a bonsai. Keep expressing with bonsai. You have a very beautiful bonsai. Greetings from Indonesian bonsai lovers
Very awesome video, visiting his nursery is added to my bucket list 😊, his comments are very true, Bjorn got me into bonsai through one of his videos but once I got into it I realized what a stress reliever it is for me. Also with being a spanish speaker I can say the translations are very accurate!! For anyone wondering 👍
I have an idea sir. At 11:39 the tree you were supporting with a stick. How would it be if it is replaced with a elegantly carved wooden dragon statue or someother figurine. I would like to see how it would look.
Saludos
I'm not so sure men...About Spain being the one leading behind Japan. Italy seems very good too. And one of the biggest bonsai producers is actually in the Netherlands. Though big doesn't mean good. still.
Great video. Whoever translated this was very superficial in the way they did it. They way toned dowm the message of what he had to say. Example when he said”Quiero que todo haga bonsái” this is in the subjunctive which indicates that he’s saying everyone should do bonsai. ( also a lot of context from other sentience’s help to tone this down) this was translated as everyone should try bonsai which is in a way the message he wanted to get across but if that’s what he wanted to say he would have used probar supposed to hacer. No problem with the translation I just fine the way they filtered the words interesting. Also the part where he says Europe was the first continent bonsai was brought to he basically said Spain is the best the rest of Europe is just ok. The way it was translated did not reflect that. Just a note I had no problem with the translation
A great presentation Rafa! Always good to see you my friend.

Owning a nursery seems to definitely change how you practice the art.
But you both seemed to adapt well.
