haha … 'my Dad's on the down hill slide into retirement'. I wonder if my kids said the same about me. He’s probably busy boxing up all your child and teenage stuff that’s still sitting around at his house but will soon be with you. Great video. Cheers
Snowed last night at my place. 70 by middle of next week and then cold again. I'm trying to get repotting done, but the weather won't cooperate. Bonsai two-step this weekend with lows around 20 at night.
Love the shohin junipers, they're adorable! It would be fun to see a pot selection video for them. Out of curiosity, is that a 1-1-1 mix you're using for most of the trees, and do you find yourself changing it up often or is that mix pretty reliable for most species in your experience? The garden is looking great!
I have a question Bjorn. I was taught once you re-pot a tree it should stay in the shade for at least 2weeks. Is this true or just an old myth? Thank You Bjorn.
@@BONSAIenCORTO thanks! Good to know since temperatures here, center of Europe, are also not very high. But, what is it with the maple? They also put it under the full sun.
Saludos. If you need it in english let me know!!!!
bjorn, i lova ya brotha but im starting to wonder if you ever take these pants off, pretty sure you even wore them for a day at the nationals. we all have our favorite pink clothes, im really about to send some gift cards to barbell apparel.
Technically all plants wich develop hard wood can be turned into bonsai. But you got to consider the leaf size and the overall qualification of the species you want to turn into a bonsai. Some are better suited to develop a convincing bonsai than others.
Pretty cool, thanks for sharing!
Planning to come visit in late May or June! Can’t wait to finally meet you!!!

I was going to ask the exact same question.
I put conifers to full sun.... no problems til now. Of course temperatures are not high.
