- Welcome to my 592nd flight on Emirates from Glasgow International to Dubai. I am super-excited for this flight as it would be my first time flying Emirates A380 from Glasgow. I am going to Nairobi in Kenya on EK, which requires more than 9-hour transit at DXB. I managed to take the opportunity of free transit accommodation offered by EK for economy class passengers on long transit. It is called Dubai Connect and you can find more information on EK website:

In this video, I am going to review EK A380 from GLA and since my last A380 flight was just a few weeks ago with SQ on SIN-LHR, it would be good to compare services and products offered by both carriers. Please join me on this exciting flight on EK A380 from Glasgow.

Excelent video. No music, time lapses or unnecessary comments, just the experience as it is. Nice taste on editing too, showing the correct information and the duration that it needs.
Thanks for the comment and good to know you like it
This is the best flight video coverage I have seen to date. You've really captured the essence of airline travel here - I felt I was going along with you. Very well done. Now a new subscriber.
Thank you very much and I am glad that you like it
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also used to fly to Glasgow on the Airbus 310-300. It was interesting to learn from my mother's Scottish acquaintance that Emirates flies the Airbus 380-800 there. I love the Airbus 380. But we also got to love the Airbus 310-300. Classics can never stopped being loved.
Yes, I remember PIA A310 at GLA many years ago. It was during the day you had virgin Atlantic, United, American Airlines, etc for flights to the States. Unfortunately, we only have Emirates today with sole A380 service. Thanks for watching.
@@xijiayudo they still play the boarding theme song throughout boarding the aircraft?

Yeah - most transatlantic flights apart from Canada go through Edinburgh now, squeezed into that little space, cannot go edinburgh, so don’t use it, just as easy to go to london or dublin for a new york flight, and cheaper
Interesting and enjoyable review. Must try EK A380 someday. Hope you produce more content like this….from new subscriber🙏❤️👍
Thanks a lot!

Hello there, may I ask what was your seat number?

Emirates uses the infamous gate 30
Nice how much u paid for this flights
More than £1800 return
Did your journey end in Dubai? I'm flying to Perth WA via Dubai with Emirates in May. Return flight to Glasgow was £1200 economy. Booked through Qantas but all of the flights are with Emirates on the 380 Airbus. Looks like I got a bargain.
I was flying from Glasgow to Nairobi and you definitely got a bargain here. Enjoy your flight with A380
how much money you have for almost 600 flights on emirates. Is this an addiction?
No, I did not take nearly 600 flights on EK. That's my total flights taken to date (including non-EK). I am not addicted to any airlines. I am only addicted to bargain fares😁
@@xijiayu still where do you go with 600 flights even with bargain fare. Like I travel a lot and even then I have done 100 flight. Where do you go🤣
@@legoo355 Well, I travelled a lot in the past and those are cumulative flights taken in the last 30-40 years, which cover around 144 destinations over 64 countries
@@xijiayu 30-40 YEARS! Have you been traveling since you were a baby? That about 20 flights per year, which means om average every 3 weeks you were on a new flight!
@@legoo355 Most flights taken since 2008 with average 30 flights per year
