Awesome trip report man, Thanks for giving us a look at what it’s like in the airport and in the plane. I will be flying to Glasgow this Spring break. I love your vids dude, keep up the good work! ❤
Brilliant video. Btw I saw my house and my car on the discontinued approach over Clydebank (no, really. I did😂) I try to watch this flight coming in every day.
@@forbeswatsonno it’s definitely over Clydebank. You can see the Titan crane, Clydebank college and the Clyde along towards Dumbarton and the Erskine bridge. 👍
I’ve just watch this again and was confused. The rejected landing was over Clydebank but the second attempt was over Paisley and the M8. I didn’t notice that the first time I watched the video. Sorry 👍
Lovely video, will be flying the A380 in Jan to Dubai as well. Opted for seat 78K as I reckon it'll still give me plenty of views to see the wing and the surrounding countries. Question for you, is it better to sit on the left or right when leaving Dubai to see the city one last time before departing into the sky?
Thanks. I think depending on where you fly to and also when. I was lucky enough to see dubai city centre when leaving from dxb. 78K should still give you a good view of the massive wing and ground view
@@JMGaming32 Perhaps nearer the departure date, you can have a look at the flightradar24 to see which runway the aircraft usually depart from during that time of the day. It might give you some indication, but you may still have last minute change on the day. Happy flying and I am sure you will like EK A380.
I am keen to know if the seating u r travelling is economy or business class... I will be flying soon same to Glasgow curios to know how the economy seating looks
@@xijiayu yeah watched it much useful but not sure if it was economy or special economy...also I am 6feet and 1 inches tall... Not sure how the seating will be... Its like I'll be in the middle seat of the middle column and next row to the beak of the plane
@@4rollingstone I was on 76K economy window seat. During that time, all EK A380s have only economy seat and no premium economy. I think all economy class seats are similar, but you tend to pay more for front seats as you are able to leave the plane first at arrival. I was in the front economy seats on GLA-DXB sector. Select window seat if you can during online check in if you are aviation geek. You can find the seat map here: www.aerolopa.com/ek
@@xijiayu mine is 42b and no option to change to a better one 😀 is it good enough still? Also how to find which mode of 800 model it is i couldn't find it in the ticket
@@4rollingstone 42b is a standard economy seat and it should be the same for all seats. Personally, I prefer window seat because of the view. I think you need to check the seat map against the one you can get it from manage my booking. However, airlines do swap types of aircraft, so seat configuration will change.
@@VaibhavShete1981 The only part of the India I have been to is Mumbai Airport, transit from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok. From Mumbai to Bangkok, it was on Jet Airways B737-900 and the Indian food served was good
Unlike Stansted through Dubai, Singapore to Perth and return! Cattle truck seating configuration, awful food options that ran out, acrid and bitter coffee, tonka toy headsets, wonky u/s sockets! Crews were stressed, tired, harrassed and exhausted - had to reprimand a Purser accordingly - shameful...
Glasgow. Dubai ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤CONNOR ❤❤❤❤
I Like Emirates Economy Class Product.Great Trip Report
Thanks. Both EK products and services are great

Funny I thought the flight came from the west over linwood

the runway is very short😮
that's just what I was thinking
Can you go to the upper deck just to look at it or were you not allowed?
I don't think you can access to the upper deck as there is a barrier at the stair which prevents you from going up. Maybe you can ask after landing

Why Emirates use b777-300ER in winter season
I think they are still flying A380 to Glasgow at the moment
umm.. may i ask what is the reason to not use them?
I wish you could have flown business class
