I feel for Kasia, she is always the brides mate.. The tides have to turn for her soon. I want to see her make the top step. Glad, she committed with the Trek girls to keep away. That is class as well when she could have left them ride and sit in. Shirin is getting so much closer as well and such a great team player.
Love this coverage of the women's side of this bike race and the sport in general. It's great because its much less predictable. Great!

They did that coverage a lot over the cyclocross season and it was incredible. Good to see it moving to the road also

Excellent show. The women riders were so tough. The last 15 k was amazing to watch !!! I thought sure Demi & Lotte were guna come back. Secretly I was glad they didn't. Bored w/ soWorx winning almost everything.

I think Lotte Kopecky's form is clearly somewhat lower than her fitness at the same time last year, which she also admitted, but her actions in the kilometers before and on the Koppenberg were still remarkable. Apparently she had missed several drinking bottles before and in that bad rainy weather you lose strength much faster. A sort of 'Fringale'? Because towards the end of the cycling race she recovered somewhat. Or a sign that her form is waning? Or just a bad day? Or even “the day”? In my opinion, Lotte still remains one of the top favorites for Paris-Roubaix next week, but luck and mechanicals will also play a major role there.
Elisa Longo Borghini did, although apparently with the discretion and permission of the sports director in the car, take a serious risk by taking Kasia Niewiadoma in pursuit of her own teammate. Normally that is "not done". She is lucky that she wins the sprint, because in the other case that Kasia would have won the race (either in the sprint or via an attack) she would certainly be denounced for her actions and that result...

Mari is the best!
The drone noise is loud. My dog was filmed for a kennel and it freaked her out at first but 30 minutes later she didn't notice. Drones can be set to follow a transponder and no pilot needed really. But for sure great footage. These classics are what needs to be shown to grow the interest in bike racing. Way more exciting than the TDF. The small rough roads with the things they are doing in video ing the race.
I guess the man forgets that one yellow jersey for a day changes a Bus Boys life, of course hes going to make the most of it.

Move of the race was when Shirin VA went from off the back, caught the leaders and went steaming straight past - that set up the win without doubt
We need more drone footage in cycling. The commentators were saying it was too close but they complain about literally everything. It wouldn’t be ideal if a rider was hit by a drone but way better than when the moto’s get in the way!
Most of the bigger, better drones, and I'm sure they're using some of the best, have telephoto lenses, so they can zoom in. And they all have to have a license to operate them, and be proficient in the operation..
