Greatest female swimmer of all time, debatably most dominant swimmer of all time. She doesn’t just win distance events, she finishes with opponents out of frame.
A Ledecky fan for 10 years. Many titmuses will come and go as a neutral fan ,from India, all my friends talked about 19 years Ledecky who was so much ahead of her field in Rio. Need to see Titmus in 2024 and 28
I'll make a deal. Litmus of Australia and Ledecky. Why don't they get a tie and share the Gold and these two are going to be just like Nancy Hogshead and Carrie Steinseifer in Los Angeles 1984. They'll have the same.
Titmus’ strongest race is the 400m. Ledecky’s strongest is the 1500m. The 800m is where they meet on more or less even terms. (Notable is that Titmus does not even swim the 1500m.)
@Kingston Petersen Ledecky holds the world record in both the 1500 and the 800, but historically, she has been stronger in the 1500. But there was no 1500m race for women in the Olympics prior to 2021.
Nice commentary by Aussie announcers. They were rooting for titmus but gave Katie full props.. only place they slipped a little was when they said Ariarne did have a big program…as Katie’s was even bigger with the 1500.
❤ ps- today in a 25yrd pool, i swam my little heart out and made a 16 second length, and was toast by the end and had to coast on my back to finish the lap. are you telling me that is the pace they are maintaining for 800 meters (several lengths and laps?) at that speed? is that what you are telling me? its not humanly possible. its absurd :) is this real? these ladies are beyond superhuman, especially katie ledecky :)
McIntosh beat her. The schedule at the olympics is the only reason the Canadian wont be in the race. It was Ladecky's first loss in 13 years. McIntosh is a future great.
❤🎉 what an exciting race. champion ledecky displayed power, endurance, and unyielding strength, while titmus swam admirably, keeping the pressure on, gaining, losing, and regaining ground to make a relatively close silver place, that one would imagine would bring pride to the aussies :) well done to all three medalists :)
where do they pick up these announcers? its apparent that ladecky is the fav n lkely will win the race....which she did but they tried to put a spin like an upset was brewing, not....i dont see any challengers in the 800, 1500 n the longer race, which Katie already owns...
We'll take Katie Ledecky and her rival from Australia Litmus. They both going to share Gold and look exactly like Nancy Hogshead and Carrie Steinseifer in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
@@PhiyackYuh - not in the 200m and 400m. Titmus’ stroke is better than ledecky’s over those distances. But ledecky is the goat in the 800m and 1500m no question.

Titmus has broken Ledecky's 400m World record- she is not just 'another' pretender.
Both Titmus and McIntosh will beat Ledecky in the 400 in Paris.
@@XDF745 I'll take them unanimously. This is for Katie Ledecky and Litmus. I'll make it like Nancy Hogshead and Carrie Steinseifer in 1984.

ledecky has the most beautiful swimming technique
It looks so smooth and easy.Almost effortless.

ledecky is strongest in the 800m, that’s he world record

800 is more similar to the 1500 than the 400. This is why they didn't used to include both in the program.
Titmus 200m n 400m n ledecky 800m 1500m

@@elsanystrom350 indeed, a heavy schedule she had, special athlete
@@donnievincent5971 special person, will be interesting to see what she does after swimming.
Only the woman (Nicole Livingstone) is Australian. James Parrack is British.
If it makes sense, Ledecky doesn't try to beat anyone but herself. Just to improve her own times and performances. Seems that way to me, anyway.
It duzz make sense...
she trains with the men, & they give her props, cuzz she stays with them in their workouts...

I can’t wait to Simone biles and sunin lee and Katie Ledecky at the 2024 summer Olympic Games in Paris France 🇫🇷

here's to hoping Katie Grimes will get an olympic medal in 2024!!
I feel bad for kirpichnikova. Her country was russia, and had to move to france in paris 2024 because russia wasn’t allowed in those Olympics.
A pity for Titmus that she wasn't in the next lane to Ledecky . She would have won if that was the case
Explain?
It goes to show that ledecky is faster and a better swimmer then. Titmus got nowhere to draft 🤷♂️🤣

If it doesn’t exit! And Ledecky didn’t even swim a fast time for her standards😂
