    Let me know if you guys would like a "Jammer Technique Exclusive" video in the comments below :)
    Try to stack these lock-breaking techniques on top of the momentum-shift and velocity-changing maneuvers from the previous videos in order to maximize how difficult you are to hit - In case you missed them, you can find those tutorials below:

      The jammer is one of those tools that you don't use much because it's double edged and not immediately obvious how to not get screwed equally as much as your opponent. So, yes, I would like to see a jammer tech video.

      @cridus_ 10 месяцев назад +1

      I made a tanky, mostly-stationary build with the jammer and it's my favourite one. I kinda force people to come in melee range because most just don't wanna free-aim, then I overpower them with my higher survivability and melee weapons >_> (explosive thrower my beloved)
      I do lose against plasma-heavy builds that stay far and free-aim, though.
      I'd probably need to try using it in a more aggressive build.

    Dude, THANK YOU for explaining the lock on jammer. I couldn’t figure it out and the only video I had found explaining it made it sound like you HAD to be INISDE the cloud for it to work. Knowing you can just use it in between you and your enemy like a barrier is a game changer and I’m definitely going to revisit my build that I used it with, but had sadly got disregarded due to its “inconsistency” in PvP. Great video, I really appreciate all your insight.

    I think it's also worth noting that if you are able to jump across ontop of your opponent's AC, their AC would not be able to lock onto you, period. It's a brief period of time since it's very unlikely for your opponent to keep be beneath you, but that's probably the closest thing people will have that's akin to "throw-off the hardlock" like how they dodge enemy lock in previous games.

    Jumping is literally the best way to break lock on, especially close range. U can jump complete over a enemy and fly straight up to completely restart the lock on while still being locked on, meaning a straight up jump or a jump towards an enemy followed by immediate ascension will actually confuse ur human opponent and the fcs lock on and give u free shots.. if they r elevated or hovering u can do the same by jus dropping straight down with boosters turnt off, nobody can shoot directly underneath them self or above👌

    Like, if boosting/jumping etc breaks your opponent's lock, it's as useful as long as it takes for your opponent's FCS to get back to phase 2? Which might help explain why a lot of ACs at close range just physically cannot get away from my lock if I have 90 close range FCS and 160 firearm spec arms, right? I guess this could encourage more range in engagements, but weapons still don't have a lot of muzzle velocity/effective range so missiles feel like the go-to ranged option since they sort of ignore both of those by being tracking projectiles and having way more range than is needed

      It should work on everything except the close range attacks. I haven't tested it against bosses, but jammers work on MT's, ACs, and other standard enemies pretty well. Bosses might have their own thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it threw off their missiles lol

    I have a problem with determining whether or not firearm specialization helps the aim of melee weapons. I'm especially curious about the projectile based melee weapons, like the Moonlight or HMMR. I've tried to use the jammer in AC Test or test different arms against Rusty in the arena to determine any effect of firearm specialization on the Moonlight, but I can't tell if there's a difference.
