I never thought of putting the crab stitch in the pattern. It's usually on the edge of item you are making. Thanks for the suggestion. Lady from Texas.

This would be great for a music teacher! It’s the staff ( 5 lines) for notes! You could have little Pom poms with Velcro for notes and stick them on it for a musical scarf!! Or just sew the Pom poms on for the music!

    Well I'll be....
I have only seen crab stitch worked on SC. How inventive of you to try it on DC.
You just gave me an idea, on a project I am about to start, for a design leading up to an edging. Thank you.

Never seen this before, think it would look good as an edging along a blanket. Xxx👍

I will love to do a small basket with this. Can it be worked in rounds?

What kind of hooks do you use those look really comfortable

It looks like Furls Odyssey hook. Furls hooks are very comfortable. You don't realize how uncomfortable a position your hands are in when crocheting until you use one of these hooks. They can get pretty pricey though

I am making a waffle blanket for a friend and its in black, dark gray, light gray, almost pale gray and royal blue. Could I do this for a border around the outside?
