    Great video as usual.........I'm still using the leaf blower on the grass and cutting it carefully, last year my last mow was in the middle of December!!! Great stuff pal 👍 👏 👌

      That’s awesome Richard ! Some lawns just keep on going ! I really don’t think I’ll have many left, it’s been slowing down for a good 4-6 weeks now 😄🌱

    Good tips mate. We haven’t had a year like this in the trade for a long time where it’s still very warm and things that should be dying back are still in bloom and grass is still growing.

      Crazy pal, very strange indeed ! Like today we are still sitting around 12 degrees, just makes me think are we going to have a snowy “spring” again? We shall see ! Hope your keeping well Scott 🌱

    Very useful video. I think I have done my last cut. Just keeping the leaves at bay. My house backs onto a wood so I get more that my fair share. I really admire your drone work. 👍

      Thank you Ray! It always helps living in such a beautiful area 😄. Yeah that seems to be the battle into December ! Luckily I don’t have any larger ones close to the house, they all seem to be down hill instead at the top of the hill 😄. Thank you for tuning in once again Ray - take care 🌱

    Great tips, fuel drain more important than ever now with people starting to use E10. Definitely sticking with Husqvarna Power 4 until everything is battery.

      Definitely ! Need to protect the mowers considering a home mower can last as long as you need it to if cared for 😄. Fair one ! That’s my aim too - all home use equipment battery - no fuel needed 💪🏽🌱

    Thanks Sam, what are your thoughts on using weedkiller this time of year on a new lawn?

    • @JayRockGroundsMaintenance
      @JayRockGroundsMaintenance  3 года назад

      On a new lawn I would honestly just hold off Barry, once when things are actively growing again next season I would get it down then 😄, 1-2 applications and it should deal enough damage for the weeds😄🌱. I would just advise to pick out when seen for now 👍🏼

    Hey Sam I know it's a bit off topic but where do you get those work trousers from? There just what I am looking for, cheers.

    Jay thank you for this as always excellent advice. My grass has a slight yellow appearance was pondering on spraying seaweed is this worth it?

      Dave, yes I’m starting to get the same, I actually have the front and back a baby feed (1/2 rate application) of autumn fert just to help it through into December/ January where I’ll be giving it its next treatment. Seaweed would definitely help with the overall health of the plant for sure 👍🏼🌱
