    Butker hasn’t gotten enough credit for how clutch he’s been. The Chiefs dynasty isn’t a dynasty without him hitting everyone of those game deciding kicks.

      @@angrydrunkengerman2819 - I told my brother-in-law right after that 13-second game, this is a "Miracle on Ice" moment. When the US beat the USSR in the semis of the '84 Olympics, they still had to win the gold medal game against Finland. The US was behind in the gold medal game and during the break after the 2nd period, the coach (Herb Brooks) told the team "If you lose this game, you'll take it with you to your fucking graves"......"your fucking graves"..... And he was right. If they had lost against Finland, beating the USSR but not winning gold would have severely tarnished the "Miracle on Ice". Winning the gold made that win over the USSR immortal. If the Chiefs hadn't choked the next week against the Bengals and had gone on to win the Super Bowl, that 13 second game would have been immortal - an all-time NFL moment. As it was, it was just an amazing game but certainly not as immortal as it could have been.

    Bills coaching cost them the game. Idk how you kick off through the end zone there and then proceed to play 25 yards off Hill and Kelce. If they pressed the Chiefs’ WRs at the line of scrimmage, they win. Literally playing normal defense wins the game, but they played prevent defense and that prevented them from winning

      If they try to jam the receivers that is how you give up a TD/big play over the top or on a SLANT by leaving the DB's in their tracks regardless of the safeties unless you plan to put them in the endzone and we right back to still giving up a lot of Real Estate. Don't you think they have watched tapes and have to be mindful of being aggressive when you face Mahomes? That's why he is the Least blitz QB since entering the league in 2018. This was a classic case of the BIlls thinking worst-case scenario they give up a field goal and live to play for Overtime rather than being overly aggressive and giving up the Game winner at the death, Don't forget they saw how easy/quick the chiefs got in the endzone on the previous possession when they were playing their normal defense. They were dead set on trying to keep the Chiefs receivers in FRONT of them out of the Endzone.

      I see it from both sides. On one side, i understand that you should play defense and if you want to win, win the coin toss and take advantage or lock up. On the other hand, it is unfair that you can match a FG, but not a TD, and how it's totally unfair for the offense to not even get a chance after a TD.

    • @luke-i1w
      @luke-i1w 2 года назад +2

      @@micahshaw5947 I watched the AFCCG for the 2018 season wearing my old Tony Gonzalez jersey in the home of a Patriots fan. Trust me, I agree that the former rule was completely unfair. Is the new rule really better though? Where does the precedent of this rule change stop? After each team scores a TD, then a FG wins it. Soon you'll have people crying about "My team didn't get a chance to match the 2nd score! It's not fair!" Whoever wins the coin toss still has a huge advantage. No rule change will ever make it completely fair.
      And is some of this reasoning stemming from the fact that I'm pissed off that 2 years earlier, the Chiefs proposed almost the exact same thing and were told to take a hike, but when it is proposed by ANYONE ELSE it is discussed and passed? Especially when the catalyst is a game where the old rule finally benefited the Chiefs? I'll admit it. It absolutely is. So you are free to consider my opinion extremely biased. But put yourself in my shoes...You'd be angry about it too.

      Mahomes is special, but Kelce called both plays. He said if he runs the seam Hill will be open behind him for a massive gain and no coverage and he was. Then he said if the defense is playing outside shoulder, Mahomes can fire it in inside and it'll be an easy gain. Defense lined up outside and Mahomes called "do it Kelc" confirming the play Kelce called in the huddle.
      And that's why Kelce is the GOAT at TE. He reads defenses as well as many QBs in the league.
